OFFICIAL Liam Fulton [Discussion]

I agree Simonthetiger with your opinion of Fulton ! I believe he will have a great year, especially with the experience he has gained whilst being in SL.

HERE HERE

IVE BEEN SAYING FULTON WIL BE GREAT FOR 6 MONTHS.MOST PEOPLE SOUND LIKE DOUBTERS ON
FULTON BUT WITH HIM BACK LOOK FOR BOTH HIM AND GIBBSY TO HAVE BIG ONES.

ive exected big things from this duo for sometime now as you can see.
cant wait to see what liam brings to the table after playing some 5/8 in the SL. may also be able to take some pressure of our playmakers when needed.

More grunt means that Liam can run off Bunji, off the edges and do plenty of defensive work.

Im expecting him to score a few this year and get a few balls away,as well as racking up plenty of important tackles.

IMO he gives our pack a very nice balance to it.

 and then Moltzen off him…....

Wasn't part of the reason Fulton went over to the ESL to improve his football......

He may not have bulked up but I hear he's the fittest he's ever been.......can't wait for teams to underestimate him when he crashes over the tryline.....

Fulton and Gibbs for that matter seem to have a fair bit of competition for spots this year:

Galloway, Cayless, Ellis, Moors, Heighno, Payten, Flanagan, Tupou - I have not even started listing the younger players looking for a shot either.

There are a maximum of 9 spots for these forwards…the competition should be healthy.

TBH my attitude has changed quite alot and I'm looking forward to seeing Fulton at lock (well atleast for the start of the season anyway). I'm still dissapointed in loosing Galea for Fulton, but ah well… I can't wait for the season to start and I'm looking forward to seeing Fulton back in the side...

Up the tiges!

good to read that having Liam back at the club has sparked team morale.
he will have a good season, and as usual be under estimated by the opponents.

Yes - fantastic game from Fulton. He must have made more tackles on Watmough than the rest of the side combined.

And to get up and be in the play just after he got cheap shotted by Tony Williams off the ball showed real toughness. He's looking fit, lean and tough. As his ball skills come back in I think he'll be a huge asset.

Seen him twice since he's come back and really loving his contribution. Ive said all along that we cant have both Heighno and Fulton in the side, but we need one. I said may the best man win, well Fulton has won with ease. Bring Mataka in to combine with Ellis and Fulton and we have something.

Fantastic effort. Looked a bit monstered with the ball in hand, but was absolutely tireless and reliable in defence. Awesome game.

Was not too hyped about his return to the Tigers. But he had a great game tonight, and if he can continue that form then I am happy to eat my words.

Looked very strong in defence, despite his smallish stature.

got monstered when he was running one out as a battering ram (which he should never be used as).
when he was running good lines and ball playing in traffic & broken play - very different thing.

At times he looked quite agressive in defence. Other times he was stomped all over but managed to pull the man down. The only thing to concern me was his uncanny resemblance to Rob Sitch.
