Life after Sheens

I think we scored when Georgallis came on board.

Either way, the best transition we can have is to let Sheens finish his contract and have a coach waiting.

Nothing can set back a club like finding yourself with a sacked coach and being forced to take whoever isn't currently working.

I'd like to see payten as coach… I think it should be 5-10 year plan though... Until every player he played with is retired or moved on
2-3 years with NYC 2-3 with BRET 2-3 as assistant...
If sheens retires in the interim then gentle or georgallis as coach

I just remember the mixed emotions I had when Sheens arrived. He still represented the face of an arch-rival having lost in 89, but he also represented a real, professional coach, and someone who could save us from club heroes like Lamb, Pearce, Raudonikis.

And then Royce Simmons signs up! It's akin to having Michael Ennis on the coaching staff in 2020 (spew).

However, despite initial prejudice, the Tigers were rescued by these guys after 15 years of ineptitude. Whatever we do post-Sheens, we bloody well get it right.
