9 penalties to 3….geeze we got caned, especially in the 2nd half

Hadley's saying now the 9-3 second half penalty count against us was the reason Parra were in it. He also said he really rates us a chance this year. Good to hear.

I'm pretty sure penalties were 3-2 to Parramatta at half-time. We weren't that bad to concede 6 in one half!

yeah the penalties was the only reason Parra were still in it, we did fairly well defending, BUT! we did give away a couple of dumb penalties, Fulton's comes to mind when he got trapped with the ball on the 5th near Parra's line

Some of those penalties were completely unwarranted, it was only in those last 15 minutes where the Tigers basically did nothing but defend that the Eels got back into it. They really did well to hold them out in the end.

ABC said it was 7-0 penalties against us in the second half - shared the same sentiment as hadley, said the refs really helped parra back into it.

Just watched the replay and some of those penalties especially the strip were terrible,well done Tigers goodbye Parra.

Justice.. that twerp Burt missing the penalty goal. They didn't deserve that penalty in the first place, Mateo carries the ball in one hand and dead set dropped it. Also justice for Burt laying down and carrying on to milk the penalty try last year. The footy gods have a way of evening things out it seems.

Refs dead set piggybacked the Eels in that comeback + the massive home field advantage.. strong line defence by the Tigers, sure we let in a couple, but it seemed like we were defending our line for the entire last quarter.
