I have defended this team against the doomsayers for a while but Im done with that. Today was a disgrace. There is something wrong.

Early in the game, I saw Nofo turn his back on the play and walk back into position. This was about 5 mins into the game. It cost us nothing but it is a massive indication of the attitude of him and the wider team.

Another indication of the rot was the first try, Roberts fair dinkum gave up on the chase early when he was still a chance. There is something wrong with Roberts, I think mentally. I really like the bloke, I want him to succeed with us, I see the potential to do so, but there is something wrong. Too many times walking back muttering to himself or shaking his head at his team mates. He has a problem and I hope his demons havent returned.

Nofo is a damn pretender.

Jacob Liddle is not going to make it. He was terrible today. 5 years ago he was a chance but its passed. I cant work it out because I dont think its his past injuries because it just seems poor skills and choices. His passes and decisions are rubbish and killing us.

Ive back Brooks for years against the haters. I might be done.

The worrying thing is today wasnt a result of lack of ability. It was simply lack of effort, dedication and effort and it wasnt a factor of 1%ers, it was basic damn simple effort plays. Walking back, giving up on the chase, dropping the damn ball and standing there with your arms out instead of falling on the ball.

Doueihi put in. Funnily enough Joey looked like he was putting in before his HIA. Laurie is a gem. Garner is inproving.

At this stage I feel sorry for Laurie, Joffa, Stefano, Doueihi.

I agree with much of this, just really disappointed

I thought this was TM's best game for quite a while - he really had a dig. I also thought Stefano and Garner were good. Garner is starting to get back to good form.

I wonder what was behind Madge’s starting with Joe instead of Garner, we looked a lot better when Garner came on.

Great post - Can you coach as well, i actually blame the coach for his late changes as well.
Coach has seriously done me now, all the Media talk about is him blowing a gasket but if he can't get the up for this game how would he do in finals format.

Agree that Im concerned that we have Nofo on the books for an extended period. I still thought Joffa put in.........Brooks is an enigma wrapped in a riddle.

Looking at the replay on Nofa’s disallowed try from the in-goal one of the Cowboys players was kicking at the ball, which should have been a penalty try.

Gutted that most of the squad didn't put in any effort today, especially on Tommy's day, and in front of a packed house. I'm glad they were booed at half time.

I don't know what the answer is. I don't think it is sacking yet another coach.

I do think it's telling that most of the players that actually do put in, are new here - Daine Laurie, Stefano, Joe O. While the blokes who've been here for years just bludge like they don't care at all.
