Gutted that most of the squad didn't put in any effort today, especially on Tommy's day, and in front of a packed house. I'm glad they were booed at half time.

I don't know what the answer is. I don't think it is sacking yet another coach.

I do think it's telling that most of the players that actually do put in, are new here - Daine Laurie, Stefano, Joe O. While the blokes who've been here for years just bludge like they don't care at all.

It absolutely bewilders me how as a team and a club we can never seem to rise to an occasion when we have everything to play for and the stage is overwhelmingly set in our favour. The cows had no right to win that game yet we played like we didn’t have to do anything. Seriously poor attitude and lack of desire and effort. The question I just cant fathom is WHY? What is wrong with this club that we cant show any desire on the field?
Is it that the squad just simply does not have enough “winners”, guys who compete for every second and evry play? The Harry Grant or Brandon Smith types.
We are so soft in D the Cows were rolling through us. Our guys just stand and hold on, there was no sting in any of our D and no line speed or pressure on the kicker (especially in first half)
Our A is flat and no bodies in motion pushing up on the ball just guys watching the ball carrier.

We have a group of mercenaries motivated by financial gain because they are either rejects from other clubs or at the end of their career and looking to top up their super. We have a bunch of players (not a team) who have no pride in the club colours ... they are a disgrace.

Yep, attitude is crap.
Too many players switch off and budge when the ball goes past them or on opposite side of the field. We just stop.

There was a try in the first half where their front rower popped a late offload 10m out from our line. The 3 in the tackle were just hugging him and our other defenders just turned their back to jog onside. Try resulted

Where is the attitude to dominate your opponent? To hurt them in a tackle? To force a mistake or rushed pass? We are never first to the ball, opposition simply want it more.

I remember that well. One was Joffa, very disappointed he turned his back on the play. He eventually attempts the tackle but the extra second turning could have been the difference between making the tackle and them scoring.

Chechin is easily the best ref and had a good game. The bunker decision, whilst probably correct to the letter of the law, shows no understanding of the play and essentially ignores the involvement of the players 'impeded'.

Way too many predictable attacking plays in the first half. Opposition defenders don't have to work too hard because they know we are so predictable. We looked our best in attack in the second half because players were trying different things like offloads and supporting each other and guess what - playing what's in front of you!!! If nothing else next week, I just want to see the team play like this with the ball. They can't win the game, but at least I won't fall asleep watching their boring, predictable first half attacking efforts(or lack of)
