Problem with dropping Brooks is that Madden hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire in NSW Cup either. He's looked good in patches but I don't think he's looked good enough to solve our problems. I suppose though, there's something to be said for dropping Brooks regardless of who comes in.

Yup - Madden is not the answer.

We're stuck with Brooks for this season at the least.

Oh and I am going to say it, Liddle should be our 9. Simpkin isn't ready for the top grade yet. He doesn't have enough going on between the ears and he is nowhere near as fast as Liddle. This side needs Liddle because without him we have hardly got a single attacking weapon. Like our strategy should just be get quick ptb, Liddle run and Laurie support. That's literally the best play we have.

Inside runner on our last play there and it was a try, but he should have kicked when there was no pass option.

Here's Brooks on the last tackle.

a) Stands too flat so he catches the ball with defenders on him so he throws a useless kick that goes nowhere in
b) Somehow has loads of time so he just boots it to someone on the full

That's it. He has to have the worst long kicking game of any NRL halfback to ever play 50 games.

Madden has been the best 7 in NSW cup I dunno what you've been watching. He will be the NSW residents 7 probably.

Our youngsters are keen to succeed when they make the first grade side and I can see Madden being the same. Brooks needs a dose of adrenalin to get himself going. Maybe he should listen to radio Gaga/i before he steps on to the field.

Disagree - but agree they should be sharing the role.

For now, majority of game time should go to Liddle and about 20mins for Simpkin. Game suits this rotation, needs to happen ASAP.
