Yeah this is one of his worst games this year.
The team’s whole attacking plan is insipid.
Disgusting even.
Brooks and Douehi completely uninspiring.

The defense actually isn’t bad.

Why is anyone defending the combination? Brooks is shot and Doehee is not a 5/8, and they are an awful combo

Hopefully this is the last time we ever see Twal and Tamou on the field at the same time. It's absolute suicide playing two slow plodders at the same time. Have one worker out there, ok, but we need forwards that can make more than a few metres each hitup

Yep Twal is actually awful and I am glad he is off contract because we should not be re-signing him. He has absolutely nothing to offer this side.

Oh and I am going to say it, Liddle should be our 9. Simpkin isn't ready for the top grade yet. He doesn't have enough going on between the ears and he is nowhere near as fast as Liddle. This side needs Liddle because without him we have hardly got a single attacking weapon. Like our strategy should just be get quick ptb, Liddle run and Laurie support. That's literally the best play we have.

Disagree - but agree they should be sharing the role.

For now, majority of game time should go to Liddle and about 20mins for Simpkin. Game suits this rotation, needs to happen ASAP.

Here's a thought. Liddle to 1/2. He is in form and would certainly be happy for a shot in first grade. doehi can do the kicking.

What a half of footy which summed up our season.

Our forwards out muscled
Nofa always out of position
Forward passes on tackle 1 twice, get tackled into touch tackle 1 etc. just dumb dumb mistakes.
Our halves have no confidence on how to play direct and use the backs

What’s different- we are still a chance & had been the better team at the end of the half.

There’s a game there to be won. If we have a decent completion rate and defend reasonably we win. Two big ifs. Let’s see what attitude comes out in the second half and how hungry they are.

That's not the issue though - yes the game is there and even if we were leading, the effort and the attack is absolutely disgraceful. Especially after the piss poor efforts of this season.

Liddle isn't a half but at this stage anything is better than Brooks. At least Liddle has a go.
