I’ve never won a game and been so deflated. We were shocking (diabolical) is the first half. The dragons were awful! Our attack was disgusting. We will be lucky to beat any other team as I don’t think any other team can possibly play worse than us, other than us, or St George today. I’m still embarrassed by our attack. We look awful. It is a win that we didn’t need. Bet we get lapped by the Titans in their comeback game next week.

God .... ya got any other good news.
It’s a win and they are hard to get. Just ask the three teams that Dragons beat.
A series of ugly wins .... that’s what we need and not whinge about at this stage of our development.

The last 15 minutes annoyed me ....why the hell do we put the cue in the rack for

You don't need crazy football ...but why we didn't hit the right twice in back to back plays ...it looked more vulnerable than the left if you mounted enough pressure

Win's a win ...but still a lot of dumb footy

When the team attacks we have no game management, when the halves kick to the corners we put the que in the rack.

We won when the forwards made very few metres, they tried but were not effective in attack or defence

We were lodged in the Stains 20 ..we should have really put them away .....we almost broke their right side when we did hit it ....if we had hit the right twice back to back they score ....I don't get your comments ....maybe try playing the comment ..not the person

But sometimes on a rare occasion the top 8 side will get absorbed in the crappier teams mediocrity..
That’s when we say “ never in doubt”

anyone else just kind of irritated with AD today though? i mean, to me, every time he received the ball he nullified attack by just running with it rather then passing it on down the line.

I get it, he's 6'2 95kg and a big body for a No. 6 but still, i just feel he's stopping the potential flow of our attack constantly by taking on the line himself....

Yes I agree .... to me we just need something more .... but he will do until a more zippy and creative at 5/8 emerges from lower grades or through recruitment ....

What was key today should have been known before the season.

Defensively with Talau at right centre with Luciano our edge was much tougher. Garner covering BJ on the left is a better setup. Cini defensively was awesome I didn’t expect it.

Jet is a defensive liability and playing BJ and Luciano on the same side is dangerous.

Yeah I also did it tough watching the 1st half .... just like most of us .... but we got to stay positive.
We have some talent in lower grades, recruitment money in the bank and the current squad has potential ..... so I see a distant ray of sunshine.

I’m glad Simpkin is locked up, however nothing he has shown so far has me believing he’s better than Liddle. There was one point where he got a quick play the ball, 20 out, with a retreating defensive line. I got on the edge of my seat to see what would happen, and he just took the tackle. That was disappointing.

Other than sign Mbye in the first place? Or continue to pick him week in week out with no results? Sam Walker has made more line breaks, try assists and repeat set kicks in 5 NRL games then Mbye has in 5 years or perhaps his entire career... does anybody else see what I see with Mbye? Does he even enjoy playing? Does he even want to be out there at all because he never runs at a gap with any intent to make a break , he looks to pass the ball to anybody at all without a care as to whether the defence is salivating at the thought of Mbyes target copping a hospital pass fro Moses.... he needs to have a go, to care about the result and stop posing and just gently going through the motions..... it is a waste of time and his own talent to just cruise around in second gear the way Mbye does........

Idk what you lot are whinning about, Moses has a good game, did his job. Obviously his service from dummy half could be better but he’s no hooker. Prefer him playing that lock role. Surprised simpkins came off.

Spot on, and the insane slowness of his passes drive me bonkers. Every time.

I thought the same. I have been expecting more dynamic running from him but he seems to want to play safe. We need him to be more dynamic from DH to get us on the front foot as it creates space with the defense.
What was clear to me though was that we do not like to run into space within our forward pack and we lack a ball playing forward. Big Joe cannot pass a ball to save his life although he did have a good game today.
