Didn't get much good ball either. Most disappointing is when he was going across field and no one ran off him

We never have players in motion. Really if you have the ball you always seem to have to pass it to someone flatfooted

I thought our middle forwards competed well for most of the game. Defensive issues mostly came on the edges and discipline let us down a lot.

Discipline was terrible, silly mistakes. Kicking game was very poor as well. With Mbye at 5/8 right side attack was non existent unless JTJ went looking for the ball. Mbye kicking on the 2nd inside the Raiders half, I’d say he’s been watching too many Benji videos.

I don’t understand why he was looking for shape , and running through plays . Just bloody shift the ball to the fastest bloke on the field and his winger , the hardest one to tackle one on one.

IMHO, Mbye played like a blind rabbit, totally unaware of the game, when he got the ball, it looked like he wants to have a round-table meeting before he makes his decision.

Yeah, don’t think he will drop Brooks just yet, but Mbye might not be a bad option as first receiver, I guess we need to wait and see what Douehie can do.

I know there is no point kicking stones for them etc etc but I don't think they realise that there are 15-20K members and thousands of other supporters buying tickets and memberships every year for 10 years and continue to fail.

You would think that someone like Brooks or Nofoaluma who haven't played a finals game for 10 years woule be angry and want to inspire but they don't.

There was no shape in the backline, players getting in each other’s way, resulting in forward passes. There appeared to be no leadership. While they appeared disorganised in attack, they were at times brilliant in defence, particularly in the first half. It was their first game they will be better for the run. Brooks, Twal, Roberts, BJ and Garner need to improve. Mbye played his best game in WT colours. Looks like we’ve finally found our FB. Been a long search since we got rid of Teddy. Ricky shouldn’t have any complaints about the refereeing , should he ?

Barring injuries I will be shocked if Mbye is in the starting side next week.

Just finished watching the game.
We are still the most effective team in the comp at getting punished on the scoreboard for our ill discipline and mistakes.
There was some good signs for us and at times some tough contested football (particularly in the first half).
But this was outweighed by some Neanderthal like football, most notably in the first 10mins of the second half.
Thought the guys we brought into the club in the off-season were good for us, while some of the guys who’ve been around the club for a while now turned in some shockers.
