2 losses to the Dogs and that loss to Penrith (and maybe that loss to Melbourne). All those losses should have been wins, and we're cemented in the top 8. WE NEED A GOALKICKER.

We have a pop gun attack and Maguire has managed to put together a reasonably competitive outfit. Blame this on the Club allowing the best attacking players (not including Tedesco) to leave the club for a variety of reasons.

I blame myself. I actually dared to believe we had changed our stripes. I actually believed we would control this game and win well. Injuries don’t cut it - we had 75% possession first half so energy should have been in the tank. We are a garbage club. Always have been apart from a few rounds in 2005. We have allowed the 2nd worst team to beat us twice!
I’m ready to type ‘I’m done’ but I suppose I’ll be back . But every day it’s getting harder. I’m sick of this shit! Every year. Every opportunity. Every challenge.
So now we’ll watch roosters, broncos, storm, rabbits play finals again. Screw that!

That is poor leadership from Benji today. I expected more from him, when the boys are down he should be the one encouraging them to get back up, they look up to him, they all epitomised the same thing out there and that was half hearted. When your season is on the line and you dish up something like that (which has been a recurring them the last how ever many years, I’ve lost count) then there is obviously a culture problem.

Benji needs to go with his mate Robbie, how many chokes does he get before he is put out to pasture. We can’t expect a top 8 finish next year with him as our starting 6, but there are plenty here who want it

@BeeJay Highly disagree, Brooks was the only one that looked like he wanted to win out there (with a few others but just trying to get my point across). He looked sharp, his outside options were all lethargic and flat. His kicking game was also very solid. He outplayed our most experienced half, benji Marshall.

far out we have alot of heroes on this forum. thats a pressure kick from our 3rd string kicker. Am i gutted, of course, should he have kicked it maybe. But pressure is an interesting beast. And for all our heroes that would of kicked it themselves play 80 mins be tired and under the pump and then show me your skills

@Madge disagree mate. The kid is an awesome player as a frount runner but is yet to stand up in a clutch situation. Thats not me ripping on him as he has been solid all year but he is never the bloke that ices a game

Got to say- all the headline talk of no complacency, time to play finals etc just let me nervous and expecting the worst. Well, they lived down to that.

Team selection has to come in the mix for criticism- Farah and Mbye should never have mad it on to the field. We are sure missing an organiser and steadier- too much after Farah left was pathetic. In the end, we didnt want to play finals- we are not hungry and rarely have the killer instinct and put teams away.

The team needs a mindset change and to harden up. Same old, same old,..................
