Brave effort by the side tonight

I would love Todd Greenberg to stand in front of me , swear on his kids lives that he thought that was an acceptable refereeing performance

From both sides ..it started with them missing Momi's knock on

The bad calls killed us ..forget scorelines ....that call of Marshall being offside on that kick from Benji's bad pass truns the game

We go from 6-6 and getting a drop kick and a set of 6 on the attack to Manly scoring twice

Realistically I didn't have high hopes for this game.

Unfortunately when Liddle went down the entire week of preparation went out the door and that made the task just so much harder. Up to the 35 minute mark we showed some grit but fatigue got us just before HT.

Possession and penalties killed any chance of a comeback - it was a statistically one-sided game so it's not surprising we ended up on the dud end of the scoreboard.

We didn't lose through lack of effort - we lost through lack of possession and class.

That probably explains why I wasn't peeved off when the FT siren went

Loved the effort across the board from the Tigers really put in when we were clearly outclassed roster wise.

Very impressed by all the boys tonight with 30% possession we were never going to win so a great effort.

Not a bad player for us just played with 15 players and lacked the extra class but still competed for 70 minutes just the last 5 mins in each half where we lost it through just not having enough ball or fresh players

Like I tried to tell Earl in another thread, that was the game changer, if Benji doesn't throw that crap pass we are still at 6-6, but Earl can't see it
