That's even worse. I want to see them so filthy that they lost, that in the final five minutes of the match they are putting on shots (legal or not, don't care) to smash the opposition. To let them know no-one beats us like that and gets away with it. Siren goes and we walk off the field with death stares, maybe shake a hand once, firmly, with cold dead eyes, leave the field and put in a massive training performance dead-lifting trees or something… Not laughing about it.

In the last decade, Farah is the only one of our players I've ever seen really pissed off after losing a game. The only one!

My take on the modern player..
Talk the generic talk that suits whatever jersey you wear - cause it could be different next week and fans want to believe that you are now only loyal to them. Make sure you mention culture.
Make as much money as you can, and keep your player mates close no matter which club they play for, cause they may put a good word in for you when you get the tap on the shoulder at the club you play for now, and or if you want out cause you are not getting along with your current coach. Hence the need to be able to talk the talk.
Be prepared to be hated by fans where ever you are because at some point they will turn on you.

NRL has its own culture that exists through every club.
Some clubs just have better systems in place to consistently attract better players and replace them when they need to.
