Id say Potter will continue with a 3rd prop style lock, but i wish he wouldnt. I really think we should follow Manly's suit and play Fulton like Glen Stewart. This will allow Fults more freedom in attack, allow a bigger more powerful edge runner to take his backrow spot…and we all know Fults will tackle everything all day if he's at lock.

But i dont think Potter will do this...he will have Fults on the edge where his lack of size will cost us at times.

Much prefer Sirro on the right with somone like Patterson on the left with Fults cleaning everything up all over the park

Stewart despite wearing 13, plays on the right edge, is more or less in the same role as Fulton already.
Watmough defends in the middle and plays like the traditional lock.

Id play Blair at lock.

I'd much prefer Fulton starting at lock, keeping it tight in the middle. Bring Sue on later in each half some added aggression. That boy has some power for his size. Then we can play bigger (and IMO better,) second rowers in Sironen/BMM/Paterson. Fulton is wasted in the second row.

I completely agree that Fulton is wasted in the second row. As good and reliable player that he is he does not have the weight to be effective in the second row, Playing him at lock will see at least a 20% increase in the team's defensive performance. Potter has to think outside the square if Wests Tigers are to make some impact this year..

I like Fulton as a bench player. It should by rights come down to he and Halatau for the bench spot.

Depending on Pattersons trial outings I would personally play Sirro in Reggies for the first part of the year.

With all our options at lock would anyone play Fulton ahead of Anasta or other options(?) at 5/8.Everyone keeps talking about Fultons defence on the edges.Well we still get his defence but get to play another big bopper player with ball skills such as Sue, Blair,BMM or Sirro at lock.
