Lodge searches for balanced aggression

This game I think will see Lodge shine and show us what he can offer in 2015 I know he is young but geez he has some ability, imagine how he will develope under good coaching and guidance.

Go the green and gold….GEO don't let the fusch and chups get cold....  :sign:

The problem with having the game on 505 is you can't record that channel.
I'd love to watch this game but unless they replay it on another channel later in the week it will be lost forever for all those out on a saturday afternoon.. :frowning:

A question for those that see a lot of 20s games…are liolevave or Heleta a chance of first grade next year? Which one is ahead?

Based on what I have heard on this forum, L is a more powerful runner and Heleta hits hard in defence.

Late in the year if they continue to improve they might get a game or 2 late in the year.

Id be surprised if we saw too much of them in the short term, but sometimes players improve dramatically and quickly.

Apparently my new room mate is good friends with Lamar and a few of the 20's boys. I'll see what I can find out. Her first cousin is actually t-Rex

Looking forward to watching Lodge develop next year, I reckon he'll be a regular off the bench to start with, but he's got a good motor and I suspect he'll put Galloway under all sorts of pressure.

Unless Galloway reinvents himself, I can't see him making the starting side and possibly even the bench. Woods, Lodge, Taupau and Ava are all superior players

Keefy could be one player who could reinvent himself with a good S&C coaching unit

I think you will find the reason he has lost speed is the foot and toe injury and they might be able to unlock the answers

We might well be trying to organise a top NRL squad for 2015,and we are slowly getting their but our junior depth is astonishing…

Hope we keep the majority of them..then we will be the envy of the other NRL clubs... :sign: :sign:

The true tough men are normally the quiet blokes who don't need to pump their own tyres…keep your mouth closed Lodge and let your actions do the talking ala Webcke and Les Davidson. Would love someone to step up and be a hardman in our side but writing swear words on your wrist-tape don't make you a bloke that the opposition will fear.

Everytime I hear "controlled aggression" I tend to think it leads to no aggression at all.

I say let him rip and tear. That's what worked so well for Taupau and Gavet (especially).

For so long we've lacked that real killer instinct up front. We finally get a kid with shedloads of it and we immediately set about 'controlling' it.

It's a part of his style and his nature, I say let it be free. Trying to stifle him will just make him cautious.
