LOL, 137 points and 18 tries scored...

Not often you score 65 points and still lose!

Highly entertaining stuff, probably not so great for the game in general though, the purists would be convulsing...

I think it will be great for the game, with the new rules in recent years the game has become very painful to watch especially with all the reset scrums, so the game this morning is a breath of fresh air!!!

I am all for free-flowing gameplay but 72-65 is a little ridiculous, that scoreline is more suited to the NBL.

Its not as if the attacks from both sides were all that good either (sounds stupid I know) but the defences were just non existant, the missed tackle counts were records for both sides… Terrible.

It entertained, and if it was consistent i.e. high scoring, close games, then surely more people will be attracted to the game. Sure the errors were high, and the missed tackles counts were disgraceful, but rugby union has become so drab and boring it needs to entertain to get the numbers and interest back to reasonable levels. I must say though, it is probably a 'freak' result, and it'll be back to the same old same old tonight. This morning was the first time in a very long time that I have not reached for the off button whilst watching a game of rugby union.
