Lolohea

Someone mentioned this before, he just lacks the heart of nrl standard players. Like a combination of Shannon McDonnell and Tim Moltzen but worse

Its sad cos he has the talent. He's nothing like a Jordan Rankin. He can turn it on. For whatever reason he's not doing it. Pretty frustrating.

Difference between this Lolohea issue and the Rankin issue was we had Josh Addo-Carr (a specialist winger) sitting in the reserves, however who do we have to replace Lolohea in the fullback position now? Sure, Thompson goes well in that position but is by far not a specialist fullback. On top of that, by pushing Thompson to fullback and dropping Tui brings in MWZ as a winger who offers nothing in attack whatsoever. But, I agree, something definitely needs to be done about Tui and I hope it's Mbye joining early.

He’s far too casual for mine.
Maybe a good bench utility next year but other than that he’s not showing enough urgency in D or attack consistently.
He knows Mbye has his job in 2 games time I’d say.

Horrible selection from Cleary in two games that were up for grabs. Lolihea is an unfit , very ordinary standard player who would be lucky to standout in reserves. I said right from day 1 this guy is useless and not 100 percent committed. No surprise he is going like a broken bus. Why Ivan felt the need to “inject” this loaf I will never know

The sad part is that he has the talent. He's not a Rankin or a Godinet who is a career reserve grader. He can turn it on. Maybe he just isn't mentally tough enough, like Suli. Pretty frustrating cos the talent is there.

MWZ as a winger offers for more than Tui offers as our FB.

Kev needs to be shifted into the fb spot and bring in MWZ.

Lolo just has had his chances for me.

but he is our X factor, 'we will never loose a game' with our X factor :brick:

Notice people saying this a lot. You do realise people were saying that based on the glimpses we saw last season.

Doubt there are many Tigers fans that can justify his selection since he's been back.

Either Thompson or Kev should be the fullback, unless Mbye comes early.

Thompson is far from a specialist but he is 30x better than Lolo. Also by moving Thompson to the wing, we lose ALL of his impact.

MWZ doesnt offer much but I would argue he offers as much as Lolo in attack, but in defence MWZ is 30x better. A Thompson/MWZ combination today and we may win that match.

I was wrong about him big time….Thompson is a terrific wee fullback and should be reinstated in that position for the remainder of the season at the very least.... :sign:
