From what i have read Parra wanted him off the books and go to storm for 2026 - Matto wanted storm to sign him for 2027 as well - storm said no - so Matto told storm and parra to get stuffed - pure gold.

the guy copped a 2 weeks suspension just because he didn't want to pay a $3500 fine. As if he is going to pay all the costs of relocating to Melbourne to earn what he would staying put at Parramatta.

So technically he was one of the first to know...but anyway. This is the best thing he did in his career

Hard to compare this to players who break a playing contract. He was trying to break the conditions of the release. Nonetheless we should definitely think about ways to learn from it.

I hate Parra and will not praise them so nothing to add
