LOSS V GAINS

By may count we have losted ELLIS, HEIGHO, RYAN,MOORS AND HUMBLE and i think there is one or two others yet i think we have only signed four , ANASTA, THOMPSTON, PETTYBOURNE AND THE PROP FROM ST GEORGE is any one aware of any other minor signings.
 
Of the ones that we have lost, only Ellis and sometime Ryan would be playing regular first grade. Of the new buys, all of the ones listed will be regular first graders.
 
well thats nine players shed for a gain of four, not what u would call a big of season buying spree, and they say we have no salery cap left, maybe we should us the panther accountants as they dont seem to have any worrys with the cap.

People go on and on about Penrith and about all these players they've signed, but with the exception of Manu, none are marquee or would be on big money. They also lost Lewis and Gordon who were both on big coin

Since the Panthers ran 2nd, they have lost Petero, Waterhouse, Gordon, Lewis, Burns and replaced them with heaps of average players, they will be no where near over the cap

It's not just a matter of comparing players leaving with players being signed. Our NYC team won the GF, our reserve grade team were runners-up, and Balmain SG Ball won the national title. Players are going to start coming through into first grade and that requires salary cap space and a gap in the roster…
 
We are placing a lot of faith in our youth.

There is an element of risk involved, especially in the engine room, but I can live with that.

I think Anasta's purchase was aimed at him nurturing the youngsters and to eliminate the frantic element that enters our game under Benji and Robbie.

Well we cant keep them all but we should of kept Gibbs and Ryan.
