Lui injured?

He was holding it and in a bit of pain late in the first half from memory and kept playing through to ~70th minute so probably not a break.
Hyperextended elbow possibly?

Hopefully not major because he had a good game. ZERO missed tackles. That's probably the first time in his career so good on him.

Hopefully it's nothing major because he is just starting to find some form. On a positive note, I don't think he missed a tackle! He also ran the ball very well and made some great linebreaks! Go Lui!

I will watch the replay - dont think he was that good - did nothing wrong - but no standout.

Maybe flinging the arm out in defence was the problem.

Had the ice taped to his left bicep. He didn't seemed to be too bothered on the sideline so hopefully it's just a cork.

Is it just me or did he seem to have an extra yard of pace last two weeks
Maybe it is an optical illusion or I am just dead tired

I actually commented that I didn't notice him miss a tackle. Saying that, I don't think he was targeted in defence as he has been previously.

The guy has always had speed… I've always chuckled to myself when I read about how slow he is. He is just one of those footballers who has 'time' and looks to be doing things simple. Unlike Benji, who is always trying to make something out of nothing, Robert Lui knows when something isnt on, so he just goes through the motions. Some wouldnt think this is a good thing, but playing in a team with Benji & Farah, I think this is what makes him the perfect 7 in our team.

Now for the Eels!!!!

He was a little banged up and McKinnon was there. He probably would have come on for Moltz or Utai if all fit but with Lui needing some ice made sense to change him with 20 to go

I think Sheens just wanted to get mckinnon off and Lui could use a break.

On Lui i thought it was his best game this year almost. Nothing special but just did what he had to and he is developing a very good combination with Farah.

Yeah. I think he played well. I love watching this guy run, back himself and take them on. He is a talent. And i hope tonight gives him that little bit confidence to carve up next week.
