Is that the best you've got ? Watch the games tonight and see what happens. I see this every game. I saw Reece Walsh do this multiple times last night. He didn't even hit the players head. I think it went straight out. Then he went for a strip with 2 in the tackle and instead of defending in the opposition attacking zone he gave away a penalty.

Your problem is you watch Brooks and only look for mistakes. It's crazy.

I think its only fair that we give Luke the chance to keep playing and progressing as an NRL 1/2 that is finally doing what he was always meant to do,set up plays,control and show some leadership as his position demands..I have been critical of Luke many,many times,however I think he is starting to come out of his shell with the help of quality players around him such as Api,Klem,Bateman etc...for to long he was overplayed by Benji and AD,the others werent up to his talent such as Mbye or the constantly injured JR...
I would be more than happy if Luke continues the way he has been in the last 3/4 weeks,hopefully he is now fully fit and ready to do the hard yards as he has always tried to do but has been hindered,his defense is solid,his running game is solid and now he just needs to combine them all and control the games as the other good playmakers do,,,I will back him in to improve more as the season progresses...

I personally think we should move on, 3 good games doesn’t account for 10 years of failure.

I was never sold on Douy, not that I’m bragging about that, and $500k is a lot for a reserve grader.
 
In fairness to AD he has had some good games and won us a couple as well. But he was overrated, the bar was set higher than his natural ability imo. Injuries have Crüeled him as well, players body is a big part of the package and if it‘s busted it’s going to have a negative impact on his mildly above average ability. Imo put a fork in him his done.
Brooks I would consider keeping at a reduced rate if we find a decent half.

He was a huge contributor to our 0-7 start as well as our decade of incompetence.

Absolute BS clown!!

Douehii was clearly our worst in every game he played by several miles - then add the likes of Nofa and Laurie who were garbage until dropped!

Even when Brooks was struggling for attacking touch - he made his tackles unlike the three busted arses above!

Are you blind - ignorant or just don't watch the games???

The results since Doueihi's injury prove what an Albatross this guy has been for the club!!!

As for Doueihi - I saw through this poser before his last ACL surgery!

He is a major liability and certainly not an asset for any football club!

yeah I hear ya, but if you’ve encountered more than a couple, you got to ask yourself the question, is it them or is it…………..

I would give him a small pay rise, say $780k with 2 years. The youngsters can still learn something from him at training. But if something better comes up, a Munster, Moses, Johnson, Pearce, et al?
 
Anybody thinking Brooks should be re signed as a 7 should take a good look at how many times we put points on when we have the ball in the opposition twenty.
We need someone to control the play… and in a hurry.
