I would play Brooks at centre because he can pass and tackle as well as has speed..
This way we keep our top players on the field and blood some young guys as well..
I honestly think this may work as we have stuff all to lose...

So our spine would be...
1..AD
6..Laurie
7..Hastings
9..NU Brown...

Look, I wouldnt hate this line up, but i think it is a shit hand no matter how you arrange the cards. Additionally, i'm not sure you could expect much without giving them a month of training in each position.
All are probably capable first graders if they were surrounded by good players. None are going to be good surrounded by average players.
 
So the logic from Brook’s fan boys is because wests didn’t sign Munster ( the best player in the game) they should just stick with Brooks. Lol. Ive read some ridiculous posts on here but this is up there.

On top of that, they say a combination ( that we haven’t seen MAY not be better so let’s stick with Brooks. Ok. 😂

Yeah, God knows we try and go after a marquee player. Who needs em when you have AD/Hastings.
 
I saw Luke Brooks at a grocery store in Concord yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Brooks is not the answer to any problem wests tigers currently have.

He’s had ample time to show what he can do and is a dud.

AD/Hastings may be worse. May be better. We just don’t know but need to try something different.



It’s a really simple concept I’d think? Not sure how to dumb it down further. I could draw pictures for ya but my representation of brooks would be a ********* **** and I’d be banned and a few guys on here might go blind having a hard think about that combination.

The issue lays that there are so many other factors involved, and these factors of disruption are actually agreed by generally all tigers Fans.
While brooks does make some silly errors and choices and has many bad games, it’s extremely ignorant to crucify him non stop.
The anger towards Brooks should be forwarded to the board and hot heads above.
Every great half back has had a fairy tale in regards to players around them, and stability.
Brooks has had a nightmare in this area.
Is brooks playing bad? Yes
Should he be dropped? Yes
Should he move into another club? Yes
But is it all on Brooks as a player? HELL NO.
The club is responsible for his form as they have not guided him properly, have not dropped him when necessary, have not guided the club properly and certainly have not listened to their fans.
Every great Half back has had the luxury of X-Factor type players around them.
All the X-Factor type players Brooks has had, has been let go by the club.
