Seriously what do we do with him. Defence is one of the best in the team. A couple of kicks today were spot on, some weren’t. His attacking options and performance is just very ordinary most of the time. He looks like he has lost speed, but that may just be the way he is playing. I would really like him to come good but what do you do.

I guess he has until the end of the year to turn it around and put in some good performances.

He still looks like little Bo-Peep most of the time in attack ..
Glad I’m not the coach ?

Wish I was the coach .....Luke ...this is Ben ..I think you will like him

You have to have knowledge to be a coach.

That’s counts you out ?

What was it four or five try assists, great defence. But bad game lukey love Hobbo and Happy?

He looks so lost and way out of form. A couple of decent kicks but in the opposition 20 he has no idea. I think I can count on one hand the amount of times he passed it to his centres.

AD was a bit of a hog as well but we looked much better with him on the ball.

If you think that , then you’re the one who’s lost . Our whole attack flowed because he engaged the line early , and AD didn’t drift ast much . Also I noticed Garner and Luci ran excellent lines all day , which meant the defence had to close in , as the threat of them busting the line , is extremely high . He called every play , just about , and moved the ball to exactly where it needed to be .
We execute 50% better and we put 30 on them . And that’s what the top teams do . There are no half chances with them . They get a sniff of blood and they ran that knife home .

Wow, I don’t know what game you were watching.

He’s a big part of why we look pedestrian in the opposition 20. Dummy half service was ordinary as well.

Laurie was more instrumental in our win .
Brooks was ok but your love for him is disturbing and whatever credibility you had went ages ago .
Brooks can’t even throw a cut out pass
after 156 games ..
How was his clearing kick on our first set lmao !
Sooner he’s moved on the better as he’s the weak link ..

First half wander aimlessly around inside the so and only do a dodgy pass to a forward ripening on the inside

Second half good kicks and some rap attack.

Pass mark

The first half , the dragons adopted the inside 20m, 5m offside strategy . Last year that was 10m in the bin , this year it’s par for the course. To me it looked like the plan was to expose them in the middle third through the middles . So a tonne of crash balls , and a kick in behind or too the edges .

Pass mark, ageee but like getting 48% but being dragged up by the curve.

He now couldn’t find the tryline to save his Mum. Running game is gone.

Ps: I’d kiss like brooks.

Hobbo, admit it you're a closet Brooksy fan.

I think it’s time. He’s really struggling to bring anything to the table

I’d let him date my daughter as he’s such a nice boy .
As a footy player he needs to find another vocation .

You just want your daughter to have a rich boyfriend so you dont have to pay for the marriage

Anyone who thinks this guy is good enough must seriously be clutching at straws, or watching a different game.

"Brooks needs the forwards to go forward"

"Brooks will be better without Marshall in the team"

"Brooks and Reynolds will be better as Brooks can take control"

"Oh Brooks won the Dally M two years ago"

Enough is enough. This team is not going anywhere without a quality halfback and he IS NOT ONE!

You nailed it, Brooks is embarrassing and living in Doughe’s shadow.
I think he needs a fibre optic cable inserted from his brain to his arms and legs, replacing the copper.
The brain signals have latency issues.

I’m far from a Brooks basher, but the way he murdered the try in the first half after the Laurie break, had me almost putting my fist through the TV. It was on out wide, and what’s he do, he goes back against the grain and makes a meal of it. Sometimes he is first grade illiterate.

My 4 yo old could have stepped once and got that over I think brooks is struggling more than ever between the ears.

My recollections of his contribution: Starting with three perfect bombs on the try line, one bearing a try, another disallowed and Joey couldn't hold the third. Backed up the early Cini break in case he could offload.

A couple of repeat sets, maybe more and apart from his first 5th tackle kick under huge pressure where he still got 30 plus metres, pretty well nailed them in the corner when within range.

An early poor low pass on the right and after opening it up for Doueihi out the back he backed up and scores if Garner offloads.
Lacking time after waiting at dummy half for the next play before Simpkin arrived, Luke probably should have grubbered when the defence was up on his outside and nobody pushing up inside, plus he had a poor miss on Hunt.

Made some big tackles as well, especially on that big backrower, resulting in at least one turnover and got back to the ingoal to defuse a kick.

No doubt other stuff that I cannot recall, but he controlled that game pretty well.

Good summary, also I was surprised how many poor passes he got from Simpkin today. Im a Simpkin convert but today wasnt his finest.

Yeah Liddle back next week.
If not in starting side than on bench.

Not in my opinion. I thought Simpkin was poor today, but Liddle was poor Rds 1 - 5. Ill give the kid a chance. By the way.......do I get a hooray for Mbye? He really filled a hole today. I dont think people appreciate what he contributes to the team. If he was on $450-600K he would be our most valuable.

Yeah, I thought Moses contributed well today. He can play when he decides to show up.

Still too much coin

Another totally aimless display. Same old
Same old. Kinda wonder kid something, hope, hope ... can’t ice the plays ... ever! He’s done. For gods sake. We sit here and praise him for a half decent game when he should have got the bullet 5 years ago. We will WIN when he goes
