After tanking against the Dogs,thinking like all of us it wld be the final nail in Madges coffin,Brooks now has to face up to the coach first week in November..gonna be an interesting ride for all.Doubt it will be for too long

I think that with todays news regarding Madge, this may be a pivotal point in Luke Brooks career. I think if he doesnt make some improvements he may be pushed out or to 6 or 9.

What does everyone else think? I think its worthy of some discussion.

It’s a no brainer..obvious after umpteen years he isn’t the one to lead us around the park but also think he could still perform a simplified role with success. Nothing against Luke but he is a simple guy with a lot of talent and beetles West Tigers so release him from the pressure of expectations and he will finally shine. For those that think he is on 800K plus its more like 600K and at that price still a good investment

Maybe the case, but at least this season he has felt the pressure of leading a side on his own. This is the first season he hasn’t had someone more experienced in the spine positions to allow him to sit back. He was in everything this year. Yeah he made mistakes but he touched the ball almost as much as our hooker. Now that his experienced that. He knows what he needs to do to improve on if he wants to continue in the organiser role or he knows how to assist if Hastings comes in and is the player to lead the team around the park. Either 6 or 7, partnered with a half on par in experience to him and with a similar skill set to his, will improve the side.

Pushed out altogether is the only way the Tigers improve. He's not of the standard required of an NRL player
