If you get rid of Brooks as sign two quality first graders and run with Hastings I’m fine with it. Wake up and smell the coffee we are signing no one of note.

I'm fine with getting rid of Broosky if we improve. Atm I'd definitely keep him because he walks into our top team.

It's really as simple as that. I can't understand why so many don't get this.

Because the Majority thinks Jock Madden would do a better job

From the matches I've seen him play over the past couple of seasons he's a massive talker in attack and defense. I see him as being like another AD vocally if not more so and even when playing in the halves he seems to rip in and take the odd dummy half carry when he sees an opportunity. He'll be a breath of fresh air in the changerooms and will break up that pin drop silence.

Is he as good as Brooks or better? Def not as quick but hopefully smarter. One thing for sure is he isn't afraid to back himself and has a solid kicking game. Tigers don't need someone with blinding pace at 7, they need a General to keep the team honest and guide them around the park and get to their kicks. How often does our 5th tackle fall in a heap due to poor set management by Brooks? Whilst Hastings doesn't have the speed to beat defenders like Brooks does, he has got the ability to attract multiple defenders due to being a bigger body.

Brooks sadly is not that kind of General type 7 and likely will never be. He'll have his place in other environments however it's unlikely the Tigers is the right fit for him.
