Tedesco had an elite season? I don’t think so. He’s on the decline. Turbo put a leash on him and walked him everywhere.

I think its just comedy.

Tedesco was good though.

I love Teddy, But I thought he was trying to get "too involved" (If that's a thing) This year...
He seemed to be trying to get his hands on the ball too much and got in the way quite a bit for mine... Even in Origin.

I'm often reminded in the game of when NSW Got ahead in the 2014 (?) Origin series close to the death - Victory was looking likely to end Qld's dominance for the best part of a decade and the only players allowed to touch the ball were Gallen, Farah and Greg Bird... 😀

Alright, time to keep the posts in this thread constructive. We all know the punt him comments are just spam and there's simply too much of that nonsense going on in here now.

Constructively,

I'm hoping Hastings sets the standard, with strong leadership and smart game management.

Brooks, who as we are aware isn't quite the leader will witness these skills and hopefully mirror the behaviour and try and emulate it.

There is options in 2022.
If Brooks isn't firing, he may be displaced to the bench or from the team when Douihei returns from injury.

Competition for spots.
If that doesn't push him to try and succeed then not much else will.

Win, lose, draw.
2022 will be an interesting year.

I'm seriously worried Hastings and Douehi are going to be kept muted and stifled and out of the halves so not to offend poor little Brooks .

Just because he's not man enough to step up and take the team and game by the scruff of the neck there's been a history of others being blamed for not giving Brooks the control. Well when he had control back end of last season we were disgraceful

Agree.

I think Hastings has to be 7
Brooks to 6 (at least until Douihei returns)

I don't think brooks is a bad player and can be an asset to our team. But I don't think its at 7 - maybe 6 or 14

There is a political reason explaining why Brooks won our player of the Year award for 2021 that hasn’t presented itself yet.

And people still fool themselves into believing he won’t play 7

What's the political reason?
