Give it a few years and I can see Kyle Lovett playing a similar role to Lewis

I'm a bigger fan of Santi… I reckon he is our Gallen in a few years?!

Agree with you both but in the mean time do we need Lewis ?

Lewis is westie, he couldn't be impressed by anything he sees in the Shire, i know i'm not. All the Tigers have gotta do is walk him through Livo Plaza, once he sees that wondeful habitat it will be the reality check he needs and he won't sign with us fast enough. They produce a million dollar waterfront Shire mansion, we produce the sights of Liverpool

WE CAN'T LOSE!!! :righton:

He is also building a new house at Orchard Hills, near Penrith, nice area to live, so an easy drive up the M4 for training  The west is best !

Jim Morrison said the same thing. If its good enough for the Lizard King its good enough for me

"I am the Lizard King , and I can do anything"

Forgot you were a massive Doors fan like happiness

Reminds me more of Fensom, but a quality player.

Lovett is also quality.

Was just talking to a guy who sat with Damien Irvine at sharks v dragons game today. They know each other from school. Ive been hassling him for some info for the last couple of days and he just got back to me with this.

Sharks and Tigers are Lewis's preferences.
Jeremy Smith believe it or not wants to go back to dragons but is happy to stay at sharks. (pretty sure Jeremy has 3 kids. Including a new born)
Sharks are happy to release Smith but Flanagan wont let him go. The only way Smith will get a release is sharks are guaranteed the services of Lewis. Flanagan see's Smith as a better player than Lewis.
Sharks are definetly chasing outside backs. Possibly Michael Jennings and Sam Tomkins from ESL. Colin best set to retire.

Yes we could certainly use some speed in the backline.

It's amazing what some time in reserve grade will do for a player, tend to come back with more confidence.

today's news article

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/lewis-wants-new-club-to-help-set-up-a-life-after-football-20120715-224c8.html

is the first time the Tigers have been first in the list of clubs named .

with Willets being quoted saying

''Wests Tigers have adjusted their offer in the knowledge of what Luke is keen to do after football. They did a great job preparing John Skandalis to be a strength and conditioning coach there by sending him to the US to do courses and things like that, and they have indicated that they could help Luke in a similar way. He could do courses during the break between seasons, for instance."

sounds like the decision is all but done . With his manager now only trying to squeeze a few extra $$$ on top of the deal .

Lewis is a great player and would be probably the best available replacement for Ellis but I think it is all about getting the correct balance in your squad. You need your old nuts surrounded by young athletic players who have some size and speed.I just think we are starting to look a little like dads army, we will have all the experience in the world but may lack enough young legs to cash in on the experience. Time will tell, Iam certainly not going to knock the signing if we jag it

Ihope we get Lewis but i also hope we sign a prop or two as well as i feel like a lot of other people we are one or two props short.
