A song and dance to end the season from hell
There’s a video doing the rounds among NRL players that would almost certainly see one club’s finals hopes for 2016 disintegrate before a ball is kicked.
It’s from Mad Monday a couple of months back and shows the entire first grade team at a pub singing a highly derogatory song about their coach.
The words leave no doubt that the players are well and truly off the coach after a less than successful season in 2015 - and want nothing to do with him in 2016.
\
\
Remarkably, the video hasn’t shown up on the internet - but more and more people are seeing it and as is the way with these things, it’s only a matter of time.
And then the poop will really hit the fan…

How about this one?

Rumour #1: Watch for one coach to up the ante and put the pressure on a star player to put the team first by swapping positions in 2016\. Good luck with that one

So explain this Lurker :brick:

There's a video doing the rounds but you don't post it

Does he think we are imbeciles ?? :bash

Calling BS on it

Even if it is true…says a lot more about the playing group and the no accountability culture that spews from this Club....

If it is not Taylor someone needs to come in and remove the stench of it...

Noticed that link also mentioned : The Lurker: At the moment Robbie is going nowhere except pre-season training at the Tigers. But the talk is he will soon be hooked up with another club, possibly by the end of the week

But I bet Robbie will still be here next week

If its true….. thats what you would expect from 15 year old school kids........not blokes in their 20's and 30's who are supposed to be a whole lot more mature than that.

With that type of attitude it can only further give us a view of how dysfuncional this team and club is. I can guarrantee that high quality players dont treat Wayne Bennett, Craig Bellamy or a Des Hasler like that.

If you plant a good crop and look after it then all things being equal you end up with a successful harvest. But if you end up with a crappy harvest....maybe we need to look at all the things that happened at grass roots level....because something aint right.

Taylor is no where near the class of Hasler, Bennet and Bellamy.

True…but either is brooks compared to thurston, or moses compared to foran, or galloway compared to JWH and so on and so on........the point is we are a team, a unit, along with the fans. United we stand - divided we fall. We are either all in - or all out.

Geo, this no accountability mantra is a smokescreen. Perhaps the blame should be levelled at the present Board for bringing in Taylor.

It's about having the professionalism to do what your boss says.

I'm sure someone mentioned hearing the same thing just after Mad Monday.

Sounds like it has some truth, wouldn't surprise me at all anyway.

If true, it's pathetic. If you don't like it, leave the money and find another club. I think most would find it not only hard to leave the cash, but even more so to find a club that'll pay them that much. Looking over the clubs it's either us Parra or NZ. Every other coach that fits that description got the sack.

I doubt the claims though…doubt a bloke like Lawrence would be involved in nonsense like that.

and I can see why Taylor can wear it. Anyone who's had to manage people knows that you'll rarely be their favorite person, particularly when the booze is flowing.

Embarrassing if true. Like a bunch of 12 yr olds in their treehouse with the "NO GIRLZ ALLOWED" sign. This is what the club is trying to eliminate.

Halatau and Richards as well. You'd think the older players would have been a bit more grown up to join in if this happened. The ironic part is 80% of them wouldn't get a start anywhere else. It's not that hard to believe, they are kids afterall, and footy players have proven themselves not to be the smartest bunch of guys going round.

The same group who all turned on Potter. Can someone tell these clowns they're not good enough to belittle any Coach. Since we haven't finished in the top half of the comp for 4 years.

Lol. Thank God JT wasn't there with the boys… Mad Monday would've turned in to a mess of verbals and fisticuffs.
