i am a bret supporter but the magpies have provided a very strong junior advancement over the last number of seasons. Bret players have not been as many.

But getting back to the games these are both very tough matches for the tigers and magpies to get through. Anything can happen in 80 minutes

I really hope Wests and Balmain win along with the WT.The Bulldogs will be tough but you never know.

I remember Leo Epifania current Wests Magpies coach playing for Wests at fullback in 1985 when we were near bottom and Saints were minor premiers at Lidcombe oval and Leo diffused about 6 bombs perfectly and we won 19-16.I hope this omen rubs off all round.

Please tell me in what way are you guys the dominant side and lets not even mention superleague and the criteria.

Dont mention campbelltown if it wasnt for NEWTOWN JETS VISION and their collapse not long after it wouldnt be ours in the first place to get all these juniors.How many of these guys come from the real Wests heartland its not many.

Just thought i would put some balance in this arguement.

and the Liverpool through Campbelltown down to the Southern Highlands is the real Wests Magpies area now because they had to give up their old area around Ashfield when they moved to Campbelltown.

I am glad Newtown failed in Campbelltown otherwise I could have been a Jets fan :astonished:

Also remember in the past Wests had to keep giving up parts of their area to new teams that kept coming in.

Truth is Wests never really gave up anything.We were forced.

The Macarthur area is Wests heartland as is the traditional area around Ashfield to Lidcombe were many Wests and Wt fans live and are from as well as having our biggest club based there.

once you read up on the history of wests you will understand that the premierships we did win were miracles considering it was wests that were continually forced to give up half there land for new teams.

Both games, Balmain V Windsor & Bulldogs V Magpies will be broadcast again on 2GB tomorrow arvo, hopefully they will know all the players this time round in preparation for the Grand Final.
