Maguire pleased with two points...

Great to see Moses with some enthusiasm. The way he was urging his team is something I’ve not seen from him . What was so different about this game, I wonder?

Agree against former club but one also suspects that been told that he is unwanted at the Tigers he realizes that he is now on notice, might also be playing for a contract at another club.

He had a solid performance, clutch kick at goal when it counted like to see the same for the rest of the season.

Enjoy today's win... Will possibly be the last W for the year

Depleted Roosters side this week with a few injuries last game but a few coming back as well, and we get 2 players back.

The positive out of this game is that these are games we always lose. We get a lead, we lose the lead , heads go down and it’s game over. I will take the win as ugly as it was. But without changes to personnel, our finals drought ain’t changing any time soon.

I'm hearing you. Who cares if it was ugly, we got the 2 points and I agree any other year we would have lost that game 100%. Talk about doom and gloom on here atm.

That is a win itself..the fact that the team found a way to win when previously they would not have after scooting out to a winning margin, then having a breather while their opponents catch up. Then realising they’re in danger of losing, so they lose their way with a kind of compulsion in the face of confusion. There must have been a couple of experienced players who said..not this time..not now..not today.. not against the spoon favs. Could just be the lift they need to beat the chooks?

Well not let get ahead of ourselves with the Roosters, we were playing the bottom side and scrapped home by a point after having a sizable lead?
I am not saying impossible they have a few coming back and few injuries from last game, we should be competitive.

Think Luke Brooks stepping up and owning the field goal when required will instill confidence. Mybe showed some talk on the field for a change takes to be told you not wanted to start playing? Take the win and it was a game thought we were going to lose again based upon what we usually do, happy with the result we don't get many wins.

Madge knows it wasn’t good enough and I’m sure they’ll work on it this week, but he’s happy with how they fought back to steal the win which is fair enough. ***Don’t wanna be critical of your team straight after a win and kill their confidence either***

Robinson is when the Chooks make it hard for themselves.

After losing three straight you don’t wanna come out and be negative. He and the players know what they did wrong, let them enjoy the win and get come confidence, focus on fixing the issues at training afterwards.

From the presser I think that you can see Madge is starting to see that this side does not have what it takes to compete consistently. Poor game management, kicking and kick chase not to mention poor defence.I think realistically Madge is thinking about next year now,

We will see on tuesday when he names the team, accountability went out the window last tuesday, so we will see this week if he is looking ahead or just appeasing the current mob of under achievers

He’s not appeasing anyone . You can’t just sack everyone, everytime they have a bad performance , it forces people to play within themselves , as they’re afraid of making mistakes . It has to be a balance , and I’d say the blowtorch is losing its lustre .
It’s like when your missus screams at you, after a while it’s white noise .

Rowdy and Blore got dropped last week, there were far worse performers who should have went before them, that in it self is poor form from Madge, no wonder they clock on and off at will

Why would you want Liddle out of the side his service from dummy half was brilliant Jrey was responsible for the brake that led to Tolmans try.
