Throughout the post match interview madge did not address the issue of being beaten so easily by a team which has won only two games previously.
Canterbury have to be excited about their improved prospects next year with their recruitment.
As many forumers would agree the wests tigers future looks exceedingly bleak.
I was excited when Balmain and wests merged as I didn’t want to be flicked like Newtown .
There has to be a major shakeup as performances like yesterday can’t happen again.
If that involves madge being flicked,so be it.

Our financial position is good, we have good junior identification and recruitment and there is a framework from which to build a bright future. Bring in Sheens, a new coach, new assistants, the improved pathways and we can get back on track on-field.

Maguire's position is untenable. Try shifting blame as much as you want but there is no getting away from it.

Off field finance great
Junior identification and recruitment great
On field performance disgraceful.

What was the problem when Cleary was coach and couldn't get us to the finals two years straight?

What was the problem when Taylor was coach and couldn't get us to the finals in his two seasons?

What was the problem when Potter was coach and couldn't get us to the finals in his two seasons?

Are any of those three still employed as coaches at WTs? Neither should Maguire be.

On field leadership is what this forum has been identifying for years since at least the Potter days.

You seem to hold Cleary on a pedestal. He finished 14th in his first season. Granted we are slipping year on year with Madge, but he has not finished in that bad a position yet. Also finished a year in 9th which Cleary also did.

Anybody who thinks we will somehow improve greatly by getting rid of Madge and still retaining Brooks to run the team is off with the pixies.
Maguire’s biggest mistake was sticking with Brooks.
I’m not the only one who said this would lead to his downfall.

I have said previously Maguire put his career on Brooks how has that worked out .

It's far more than ladder position. The Chair has referred to a disconnect. I believe we all know what it means but are hesitant to state it.

Uhhhhhh, results are everything. Fact is he did no better than Maguire at his best, and his worst is effectively worse than Maguire's.

You referred to ladder position. I am saying Madge has done no worse than his predecessor.

The Chair says a lot of things without much thought given before he says them. I would question his involvement around large profile signings.

I think Madge and Ricky are a bit similar.

Both are willing to cast players aside rather than work with them and improve. If they think a player let's them down, it is off to reserve grade never to be seen again or an exit from the club.

The signings made under Cleary's watch were horribly overpaid, but at least he could get something out of them. Madge had 10-20% of the cap producing nothing because he couldn't make use of the skills that they have in some way.

Have to laugh at people suggesting replacements......

Flanagan just gets me laughing all day - keep it up guys. Next you'll be suggesting Josh Hannay......oh please, stop it, my sides are hurting.......

Fair enough don't see them as being good myself but who would you 'realistically' be aiming for (available and willing to

come)?

'IF' the decision is made that Madge has to be replaced prior to next season starting, I reckon we may just have a ready made replacement in place already...our Reserve Grade Coach.

It seems he got a mob of **Nuffies** to fire and combine as a **winning** **team**.

He already knows all the players **strengths and weaknesses**.

There is obviously **mutual respect** between players and the coach.

He doesn't have the downside of Shane Flannagan **pushing drugs** to be a winner.

He is a young bloke so would be up with all the latest **training and inspiration** methods.

He already knows **how our Club Board operates**

And has been **commited** to our club for long enough to take over with maybe a bit of guidance from **The Sheenius**.

Maybe Madge would take a spot on our board to help steer us to where we've got to be without having any role with coaching

Wouldn't have blamed him if he rapped a towel around his head, stuck 2 pencils up his nose and answered all questions with the answer "wobble ".

In early 2018 we had the best period defensively that we have ever had since 2000. People find it hard to separate what he did to how he left. The same way wrestling fans can’t separate Chris Benoit the wrestler, to Chris Benoit the murderer.

Didn’t they just cop a $40k fine for blaming everyone for there last game loss?
