Benji is going great by the way. What a difference a good coach makes to a player like Benji.

I totally agree - he showed faith in Benji picking him for NZ and his game has gone to another level since. Yea there are still the Benji moments where we throw our hands up in despair but he is now showing great leadership and maturity in his game. A few commentators have mentioned how he is now playing to his strengths at this time of his career and cutting out a lot of the rubbish plays. At the start of the year I wanted him gone but I am now really looking forward to him staying on for one more year.

Under Cleary i thought he was washed up. He has been a revelation under Maguire. You can only put that down to great coaching.

@The_Patriot yes the Farah knockers and Liddle disciples get a bit much sometime.

But somewhere in the middle lies common sense.
It’s obvious to me after watching Reynolds and Marshall at 9 that Farah is slowing down - so a fit Liddle has something to offer on the field

I like your post TS,and while Im reluctant to criticise Farah,I was wondering that since he has been out both Brooks and Benji have really opened up with their ball skills,we always knew Benjis ,but in particular Brooks running game...It does seem to me that they have had a weight lifted off their shoulders...
Including Grub into the game really brings that extra needed spark to the fore which seems to suit both Benj and Luke..
Maybe Iam reading it wrong but I think Farah may have been strangling many of our games with his style of play...

I don’t think you’d be alone thinking that

No one at the Tigers in the past or this year at the Panthers appears to have improved as a player under Ivan.

Compare this fact to a number of players this year at the Tigers. Exactly the opposite.

Thanks for leaving us Ivan. Congrats on the move.

Last post for me on our former coach.

I'm am over it and him.

Most of the Panthers have definitely gone backwards this year, in particular his own son.
