Marika must get the ball..give him chances. This man is a possible star..encourage him.

There is no chance of a slog..we must score points than them.

Well we had to grind out the win agianst dragons we didnt shift the ball because the wheather was bad. He will get the more this week if the wheather is good you will see us doing alot of shifts during the game.

The amount of pressure people are putting on this kid is rediculous. No one said boo about him after the Souths game

I thought his game against the Dragons was a magnificent back up from the Parra game. He had a heap of expectation on him and followed it up with a solid performance. Even though he didn't score another 4 tries or make huge barnstorming runs, what I was most happy with from him was his kick chases and defence. Benji and Farah were putting in quite a few kicks down in to Vidot's corner, and we came up with repeat sets on two occasions thanks to Koro and Beau - first pushing Vidot back into the in goal, and the second instance Koro got enough of a push on Vidot to get him off balance, and Beau did the rest to push him over the sideline. Great effort from the young kid to really try and put in the hard yards in defence, not just his attack which he's known for. If he has another performance like that this week I'll be happy. He doesn't need to score 4 tries every game.

Benji needs to get the ball more on 4th and actually do something with it other than kicking, i want him to run the ball….

good point. but i still dont think he will get that much ball tbh. tigers grinded out the win really well, but i doubt they will be able to do this against the dogs, because if they get the posession and field position like the dragons got they will put plenty on us.

i reckon in this game, we gotta make sure we don't peak too early. they have some big forwards that we can easily outdo in the ruck. start of the game, keep the ruck tight, dont shift the ball unless you're dead certain of a break.

the time period a little after halftime (45, 50 mins+) could decide this game imo.

Marika did his job against St. George. He was utilised perfectly by Farah by forcing line drop-outs. Must have been refreshing to have a bit of pace out on the flank to get some repeat sets. It couldn't hurt to try the same this week against Perrett. He is a little older now, but Koroibete has the hunger to make the #2 his.

Let's not go crazy by expecting four tries a match out of this kid though. He's performed very well in the last two games and is very much looking the goods, but he has a very long way to go yet. Consistency is key amongst all facets of his game.

Anyone expecting that, or even thinking along those lines has no idea

I was at the game and I must admit he was impressive. When he dropped the ball early in the second half - as soon as we got the ball back he was the first one to put his hand up and run the ball. He felt he let the team down and wanted to make amends.

The four tries were great but his attitude on Saturday night was awesome. That is why he is a NRL player.

We should look at how the dogs kicked it at scrum time in the attacking half run to the line put it through for barba but do it for korobete

Give him the ball when the opportunity opens, get him to dummy half to take some pressure off the forwards coming out of our own end.

It is all any winger can do

did anyone even say that?

I am not sure if anyone did say that exactly but there was plenty of talk about comparsions with Nadruku, some 'is he a future star' type articles on Foxsports etc. To put it all in perspective…the last winger to have a great debut that I can recall was Jackson Kaufsai (sp?)...how'd that end up?
As for Koro, well he just has to keep on doing the small things right and he'll end up having a great career.

He's learning, there'll be good and bad.

Hope he has a blinder but…

Would much prefer the team has a solid performance and gets a comfortable, but hard fought win.

I did see someone the other day saying that if he could do that every game in a season he'd score 48 tries and asked if it were possible, that poster shall remain namelss. As for your question, i never said anyone did, but the way some people have reacted to his performance after the Parra game, no doubt some would be expecting miracles
