the month off (with the rep bye next week) will not do him well benji is notably a slow starter so it could be another 7 to 8 games before we see the best of him again. Any coincidence that the game he is slated to return is the sharks game against his mates just hope is right and not rushing it back

2 months? How do people come up with some numbers, I don't know. By the time he comes back he'd already be training pain free.

im talking about him actually hitting his straps and playing at the level that we know he can play at. Benji always finishes the season stronger than he starts it so this delay and break is not good either way

we have to prove we can without Benji.
or have we already accomplished that.

In his career with Tigers Benji has been sidelined for long periods with shoulder injuries. Tigers survived then and we will survive now espcially with the young talent coming through.

If you call surviving missing the top 8.

We have only ever made the finals with Benji firing for a good part of the season.

I'm actually excited to see how the Tigers go without Benji for a month

Gives Potter a real chance to try some things without any pressure

Because our history says we only make the 8 with Benji firing, means this is the perfect opportunity to show the NRL world we don't rely on one player to carry this team.

Our forwards carried us Monday night so now it's time to prove our halves have the goods without Benji and our outside backs can do a good job.

Agreed. It may actually benefit us in the long run as it will force us to make a decision we may've been delaying or presenting an opportunity to someone we had been considering. Now the first thing comes to mind is the potential for Tedesco to move to fullback. The other is that Miller may be forced back into the top grade. You can see right now that we've got some issues as we look to transition from what we had in 2012, to what we have now . Potter now can move one of two ways here, Shift Moltz and allow Tedesco to take the 1 jersey, or show further patience with Miller, in the hope that with one less dominant playmaker (Marshall) there, that he might actually fit in a little better. It will be interesting to see what Potter does and how it works for us.
