He is a good player , but he doesn't have Fifita's fend or speed at this stage

He is still young and will develop a lot the more NRL he plays

Speed? I would think Tapau is faster than Fifita Happy

Taupau needs to put a bit of muscle in his legs and will probably put another 5kgs on in my opinion

When he gets the extra leg drive he will lose speed

I'd say Fifita is probably a touch quicker over the 40 than Taupau

Just my opinion from what I've seen .

Completely disagree, I know it was a while ago but did you see Tapau run down Gagai in schoolboys, Tapau was still well built then.

Not the powerhouse he once was
But were desperate for impact middles,and he wld do a job for 25..probably looking for 26 as well
At rite $$.hes gotta be better than the midget kids we have on our books rite now

If you look at our cup squad he would start instantly and be a major upgrade. We have spots and he isn’t on marquee $$$ anymore. I wouldn’t say no unless we have other irons in the fire.

Just as an aside, looking back at this tread from 2014, I noticed a few lost forum soldiers.
It's OK, the forum's living strengths haven't been lost as well - IMO, our current contributors are a vibrant diverse, fun, controversial and always enlightening bunch that radiates the BEST fan forum in the NRL.

Didnt see eye to eye with Madge it seems, hasnt used him much. Could be good for us in short bursts if hes got some legs left. IF theres any juice left but yeah, might be wishful thinking.
