Matai has to go, I reckon. He just cant help himself. Just has to do something stupid it would seem.
Sterling thought the Williams tackle was bad. I didn't see it that way and with a clean record might get off with an early guilty plea.
Who can tell, though, with the current judicary. I still think Brett Stewart should have been rubbed out for the season after the brawl.

I think Matai is a grub. However I dint think there was intent to hurt, I think he was trying to stop the try and a penalty is sufficient.

I also thought the same about Gibbs a few years ago too

Both are free to play….Matai was not charged and Williams took an early guilty please.

Gibbsy got 3 weeks for a hit half as bad as Matai's, but being a GF they will almost always find a way to let you off.

I don't particularly have a problem with Matai's incident, he came in late-ish. Gibbs never should have got 3 weeks though, they are totally soft now on leading with the legs.

If Gibbs were a Manly player he'd have been let off also.

I heard MaCullum interviewed once by Hadley and Fulton and he dead set could not have been more intimidated by Bob Fulton if he tried. Fulton raised his voice and MaCullum basically said "yes Bob, we will fix it. Sorry Bob".

No way was he going to rub a Manly player out of the GF.

This game DESPERATELY needs an independent commision. It's administration is an absolute joke at the moment.
