Wests Tigers today issued the following announcements in regards to Friday night's game against the Dragons: Supporters should be advised of the following information ahead of Friday night’s blockbuster game against the St George Illawarra Dragons at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Ticket information
After last Friday night’s big win, a near capacity crowd is expected. Therefore, supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance to ensure they secure the best seats. All ticket windows will be open on the night with additional ticket windows open at the SCG along Driver Ave for spectators entering from the southern end of the precinct. Spectators are encouraged to pre-purchase to avoid queuing on Friday night.

There are still currently plenty of tickets across all categories, however tickets are selling fast. Tickets are available through Ticketek by calling 132 849 or visiting an outlet in person.

Junior League Passes

All Junior League and NRL passes will be permitted entry to the stadium on Friday Night. Pass holders are encouraged to activate their cards in accordance with the conditions on the reverse of the card before Wednesday to ensure access to the venue.

Wests Tigers Members

Due to the shift of venue from the SCG to the SFS, Wests Tigers Members are reminded that their passes will operate in the standard SFS mode. This will mean that Pinnacle, Gold and Silver Members should sit within their allocated seat as indicated on the reverse of their membership card, and Bronze (GA) members should sit within the designated GA admission bays.

Wests Tigers Pinnacle Club Members will be hosted in a private function during the match and complete a lap of honour around the stadium and remain on-field to watch the teams warm-up for the big clash.

SCG Members

The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust have advised that SCG Members will be provided access to this match due to the switch of venues from the SCG to the SFS by utilising their SCG Members Card at the turnstiles.

Transport
All supporters are encouraged to travel via public transport to the match to avoid traffic delays in and around the city on Friday night. Trains will operate regularly to Central Station with Shuttle Bus services operating from the Station direct to the Sydney Football Stadium.

Paid parking is available at the Sydney Football Stadium’s EP2 or EP3 (Kippax Lake) parking areas or Entertainment Quarter (formerly Fox Studios). Please be advised that there will be Clearways enforced on the roads surrounding the Sydney Football Stadium.

Match Day Entertainment
The match will see both clubs pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the 1961 Grand Final teams from Wests Magpies and St George Dragons. Players from both sides will be presented to the crowd and will remain on-field to welcome the current day teams onto the pitch.

Wests Tigers will wear the Wests Magpies Heritage Strip this Friday night as a tribute to the Wests Magpies legends.

Marching Band, The Marching Koalas, will perform pre-match and will also be joined by students from St Patrick’s College School Band. Pyrotechnics will welcome players onto the field followed by a rendition of the National Anthem performed by Adam Scicluna.

At half-time, the semi-final of the Hyundai Half-time Relay will take place with Junior League teams from Dundas Shamrocks, Strathfield Raiders, Leichhardt Wanderers and Concord-Burwood United. These teams will race for a cash prize of $500/Wests Tigers try scored on the night donated by major sponsor, Hyundai.

A marching band!!! now that is reminiscent of the old Lidcombe Oval Days. Who can remember the old Wests formation marching band? I was only a youngin' in those days, but who were they? and, where are they now?
