Match Review and Judiciary Thread

We really have the dumbest fans in the comp 🤣🤣🤣
You are not a fan.

You are a contrarian who thinks generating against majority opinions makes you enlightened. Go support your second team that you were crowing about last night and leave those who want the club to succeed to discuss it.

The only thing illegal about what Latu did was not using a wrapping motion. Aside from that the contact was completely legal.

We recently embarrassed the NRL after highlighting the inconsistency in the garbage third party arrangement for Luai. I am not surprised they wanted to whack us with big stick.

For starters, Raiders have had a very soft draw over the past 6 weeks which includes Parramatta, St George, Melbourne, Canterbury and a Bye. The one good team they beat is Souths who are missing their best player.

We have 6 games left to start planning for next season and playing a career backup who hasn't had a good game since Rd8 over the form half of KOE and our supposed future 6/7 is piss poor planning and coaching malpractice.

Btw if we go by your logic of not debuting players out of fear we'll get smashed, then we won't see him until next year because looking at the remaining games, there's a good chance we'll get smashed by everyone besides MAYBE St George even though they put 13+ on us.
So throw him to the wolves when a team is down on confidence and see what happens. As if Canberra wouldnt target him.
Remember St George did something similar to their young half on the Anzav Day clash...

Exactly , if Thompson had ran over the top of him and they scored it would have been celebrated,, Latu went too low and the defender went over him, it was a missed tackle so how is he responsible for the man running over the top of him… bloody ridiculous charge and ridiculous sin bin made from a reactive refereeing group with almost no understanding from a player perspective
Rubbish. It is effectively a head on shoulder charge cannonball aimed at the lower leg. He knew it and most of us recognised it the moment we saw it.
It is not a low tackle. It is a trip that cannot be controlled and will likely only end badly. Someone does their knee to it and we’ll see him banned for a long stretch.

Cool story bro 😉👍. 😂🤣😂. It was a mistimed tackle, he made a timing mistake, got his body in the wrong position,it happens, same as when a tackler drops their head and hits the ball runners hips.. it was an error on his part that risks himself being injured as well. Only an imbecile with no actual on field experience in the game cannot recognise this, but given your admiration and support for the adjudicators ( unless it impacts a qld team) I suppose it’s not at all surprising.,

Go have a cry.
You just said why he got banned, thus proving my point that a lot of our fans are idiots with a victim complex.

If he's who we think he is, then he will handle it fine. He has stepped up no matter where he has played whether it be NRLQ Series, KOE or u19 Orign. I guarantee he won't be the reason if we get mauled by the Raiders.

And that's a piss-poor comparison regarding St George. Firstly, Kade Reed isn't even in the same league as Javon Andrews and frankly, I would never have played Reed at that stage or at all this season. Andrews has played nearly the entire season in KOE, leads the comp in TA and is widely regarded as the best half in KOE. Not to mention has won man of the match awards in u19 Orign and has carried that form across all levels hes played at. Reed has done none of those things and was called in purely out of desperation by Flannagan

Not idiots pal some fans see it differently than what you do and me personally I don’t see it as dangerous as what you do , the fact was Thompson thought he would run straight over the too of Latu and he did that

That’s not the point.
Latu does this tackle pretty frequently. He gets penalised for it to varying degrees each time.
I had the exact same argument when Api got suspended this year.
Ironically the same people don’t have a sook when Seyfarth gets penalised over and over for his high shots.
These guys need to wise up and alter their techniques. They have been marked now and the refs along with the judiciary are watching them.

Why introduce Javon in a game where we are likely to get smashed by an inform Canberra down there? How can that possibly be good for a young man's debut?
We have a habit of doing that. It was a far enough line to start last nights game with Haywood. Had a great debut but imo a stretch too far to throw him in to start the following week.
