Thoughts on possible suspensions for:
1\. Pat Richards, on the lifting tackle on Greg Inglis

2\. Marty Tapau for the late tackle on Adam Reynolds.

Personally I think they may miss next game. I Hope I am wrong 😛ray:
Reason I say this: NRL suspend them, to put a message out to players, that any sort of lifting / dangerous tackles, & late tackles will not be tolerated.

Marty should be right to play with maybe a warning…..Pattycakes.. 1 week I reckon,to show that type of play will not be tolerated...

tolerated? Inglis executed a perfect forward roll - Patty just happened to have a hand on his leg at the time. Pat doesnt have it in him. Thats not his style. Dont be fooled.

The milkman does it again. Funny how time and time again he finds himself upside-down in the tackle. Unfortunately, although I thought there was nothing in it, Richards will probably miss a week.

Richards did out his hand between GIs legs. It didn't seem too bad though and is imagine he has a good record so probably a week at worst

AHX,I won't be fooled,Pat is a clean player and wouldn't do anything like that, however which ever way you view it,it didn't look good..unintentional or not….

Richards facing a Week with Early Guilty plea charged with Dangerous Contact Head/Neck Grade 2…250 pts or 187pts

Taupau no case to answer for his nudge...( should have got a medal)

Marion Seve has been charged with a Grade 5 Dangerous Throw in the 43rd minute, with a suspension of six weeks for an early plea and nine weeks if the charge is contested and found guilty

When Richards tackled Inglis, Farah had Inglis's foot on the ground. I thought Beau Scott wasn't charged the week before for that reason. Richards should fight the charge.

Beau scott was charged with a dangerous throw on Thurston, which he successfully fought on the grounds that you can't "throw" someone if they've still got a foot on the ground. Whilst they found Scott not guilty of the throw, a Grade 1 dangerous contact charge was applied instead, as the tackle still presented an obvious risk to Thurston's head and neck.

Obviously there was a meeting about this during the week because Richards has been correctly charged with grade 1 dangerous contact, same as Beau Scott.

I'm glad Farah kept Inglis' foot down, or Patty would be out til sometime in may.

Richards charged with Dangerous Contact Head/Neck Grade 2…250 pts or 187pts early plea....different to the Beau Scott charge...

Well that sucks. I'd be inclined to drop Brooks back to State Cup this week and promote Drinkwater who has not put a foot wrong so far since playing in Tigers colours. He's also playing more composed football than Brooks and his general kicking and goalkicking game cannot be overlooked at the moment.
