Matterson free to play, Douehi to miss a week

Expecting fairness from the otherwise unemployable fools that "run" the NRL is, like it's always been, a fool's errand!

That's what it feels like to me

Judiciary panel shouldn't be allowed to watch football

When someone has something to answer all they should see is a computer generated image of exactly what happened

Surely there is technology to make it happen

Than panel have to decide punishment with no idea of what club infringed and what players were involved

I know it will never happen but jeez it's pretty obvious who you are and play for has a big bearing on the punishment you receive

If matto was still a tiger and did it he would of faced automatic 2 to 3 weeks
 
I am disgusted. The Matterson tackle was avoidable. The tackle was almost complete. There was no reason for him to even be there to make that tackle. He had so much time to think "I don't need to do anything here". The MRC and judiciary need to be blown up. I'll never forget Billy Slater's shoulder charge.
 
You can't perform a **SHOULDER** charge with your **BACK.**

Absolutely weak from the NRL with Matterson, but unfortunately not a surprise. If you were looking for a textbook example of a crusher, that was it.
 
Dont want Matterson to be able to make any excuses

When they are out in 2 weeks and Matterson is bawling like a baby ....

Packer would get 10 weeks for that.
 
Like the refs, the Match Review Committee is an inhouse boys club, where favoured treatment is the norm. All any outsider wants is consistency, fairness, the same act to be treated the same throughout the year. But that is so unlikely to be achieved, people like tiger05premier above have to suggest extravagant and complicated mechanisms to shield from the human onlookers the teams and players involved to try and reach a measure of fairness that way.

The NRL is not a sport. A sport has in it the basis of fairness, equality, equal chance, the notion that opponent who plays the game within the rules better (maybe with some luck) will usually get the win. In the NRL, there is so much bias, politics, money, corruption, it is more like an extravaganza, or a theatrical show.
 
As i have said before PVL has cut out part of the cancer (Turdberg and a few player managers) but the next cancer to be removed is Annesley and his dodgy empire of referees MRC and Judiciary.If he does that the NRL can return to the wonderful sport it should be.

Every Tigers fan will stand and applaud when the sooks from Parra go out in straight sets
