The mole tweeted that lodge will make his debut this weekend for tigers. Buchanan to miss out, Bench looks good with him there. This guy will make an impact…

Well, its only fair that you do. Bit rich if Lodge has to look back in 50 years with the lament that he was not accorded a debut thread on the WT forum. Make sure it includes appropriate caveats to the effect that is only unofficial that he is debuting; and whoever wins, the game is the winner; etc etc.

He looks the goods,a better option than Buchannan or Brown, good luck champ, put the pressure on Mick to keep you there.

Good luck to him - he's going to need all the help he can get with the featherweight travesty of a bench he's playing with

Lodge reminds me a bit of George Burgess in his build and playing style. He's going to be a star.

Yeh if he keeps his head together he will be a very good player. I love his ability to promote second phase play, which is unusual for young front rowers.

I liked what I saw, he will be a good player, we have plenty of depth up front for a change, its a pity we dont have that same depth in the three quaters

He had a bit of a go didn't he. You can certainly believe those rumours out of Melbourne haha

We need to develop that depth in the three quarters (centres only) instead of habitually selecting dead wood.

Solid no nonsense, and carried players with him.

Any of the DH stuff that has been spoken about in the past looked out of his game today.

Thought he was great, highly involved, always bent the line and went forward. Imo he stole Moses thunder made way more of an impact he should be happy with himself, top debut.
