Maybe we were too hard on the team last week

Just watching the Dogs & Eagles tonight Manly up 18-0 , if they keep going at this rate our performance could be looked at in a different perspective especially when you look at our bombed chances, ref decisions and taking Robbie off for a spell.

Manly's defense is incredible. Titans are underrated.

Bulldogs are rubbish. Injuries severely affect a team.

Why do we get so many? Injuries seem to be all we are consistent at.

We're not that bad and have a huge upside over the next few seasons with our young guys coming through.

Patience and hopefully Potter and co build us up.

Manly are on tonight. They were pretty messy v us. If they played like this last week they would have comfortably ran 50 past us. So no, we weren't too hard on the team last week…they were bloody dreadful.

This is the million dollar question, the one thing you can always count on every bloody year!

Bulldogs are not crap, but like us they are severely depleted in the forwards at present. It is not helping that the 2 big blokes who could really lift them are MIA. Pritchard has done bugger all tonight, just when they need him most (I hope we don't sign him) and Tony Williams is playing like he is off his face.

Manly's defence is incredible! If they can keep this type of defence up for the season then they will win the Premiership hands down.

The game was there to be had last week and the tigers couldnt find nor stick to a game plan to save themselves.

Barring the Farah dissision of which I am yet to see an explanation (out of town this week)…. Potter deserves better

No not too hard on team last week.
they get paid to play footy.
we pay to go watch them
you want value for money, and certainly did not get it last match against manly.

Not many gave credit to Manlys D last week…...I think thats now seven 40 min periods theyve held a team scoreless....their D is something to admire - its a culture they base their club on, tough uncompromising - 7 points or 1 try a game

Yeh, something we could only dream of :unamused:

We were about as scary in attack as the Easter Bunny is

It is OK to build pressure ,but we didn't even stretch Manly phsyically or mentally

Can you imagine 2010 side with that amount of ball in the 1st half ??

haha, happy tiger. I'd have loved to see the 2010 side vs manly with that kind of ball. 20-0 by the 20min mark i think!

the good old days….and i missed em cause i wasn't a massive nrl fan back then. started getting reallly in to it in 2012 after converting from union. perfect timing to start barracking for my team :roll

Depends which 2010 side your talking about. The one at the years end, yeah sure. The one at the start would have copped the same hiding.

Same with the 2011 side stryker. Which means we're still in with a chance this year i think. If injuries go our way from now and the side come together anything can happen! Just like in 2010 and 11.

If Manly had gifted the Dogs five sets of possession only a few yards out Iam sure the dogs would not have come up empty. The wet track last week saved us from one hell of a blow out and probably the blow out we may face on Monday night.

Manly are a very good side and I would love to see a WestsTigers team plays with some much passion in defense, bnecause that is where it all starts from

Passion and Mental Toughness, that what we need. You want the guys in the team that want to play football wheather they are payed or not, not the flashy boys who don't get out of bed of less than 5 grand a week. Being proffesional players, not having day jobs is making some of these players in the NRL absolute NOBS!

We were consistent the whole yr that yr
