I think it is a little of both, Manly are a very good side.

Yeah we were mate, despite a minor form slump in the middle we were overall a consistent side that yr. And to further take up Stryker on his point, we won a lot of games early on that yr, maybe more than any other yr. remember beating teams like Manly, Parra, Canberra in Canberra and and Nth Qld in the tropics. Still believe it was the only yr we've had in 14 season that we were pretty much consistent the whole yr. We finished 3rd and it wasn't due to a late season charge like the ones we had in 05 and 11, it was due to a solid yr
