I think this would be a no brainer. Works for both players. They both want out and NOW.

Swap with money adjustment, about $150K and Mcquire for Mbye.

Wouldnt affect our cap right now.

I hate Mcguire, but the reason i hate him is because he is a hard nosed thug. Just what we need because we dont have one.

Is an origin and international player. Would be good for our young forwards to learn some mongrel.

Very very much an EFFORT player, and god knows we need them.

I don't know about McGuire, but a Mbye swap is a good deal for us, I am over him after today, I tried to be supportive, but he has no place in the team

McGuire has played hooker at international level. So could stand in at a pinch which means we dont have to carry two hookers, and that negates Mbyes value. We can now carry four good forwards on the bench.

A bit more starch in the forwards. Just turned 31, and surely has 18 months left in him. Thats his current contract anyway. Lose nothing, because youre payingfor Mbye. If you get Mbyes 800k back next year or even this year, who is available to buy anyway?

No thanks. All things equal, McGuire is a more valuable player than Mbye. However, we've got a good middle third. McGuire doesn't represent a sizable enough upgrade over who we've got to justify paying him rep level player coin.

If we're swapping Mbye for anyone, it should be a winger or a half. Otherwise take the cap space.

Not Maguire we don’t need him. Player that would be a massive risk but maybe similar to Ofehengaue is Coen Hess. Absolute monster for 5 years then fell off a cliff.

I would be tempted a year or 2 ago, but would pass now.

He is another player who is becoming a liability with the new ruck rules. Ill disciplined when fatigued, similar to fifita, woods, taupau etc.

Mobile ball playing forwards, especially at lock, is the way the game is headed.

No, mbye gets alot of hate for his big pay packet but he is still alot better then some players been trotted out every week.
