Meaney bitten

Anyone notice Meaney - late inn the game - of course its late hes the token back that gets 5 or 10 - tackle Zillman then get penalised for some push and shove.
Looked like he said to the ref' "I was bitten" or "He bit me" as he ran past, refereee alan delvecchio just ignored him totally….replay on IQ confirmed it looked like he was bitten on the finger/s.

yeah but to me it looked like he put his finger in his mouth ,,,,so youd probably expect a bit of a munch …..it couldnt have been too bed cause he never went on with it

It's strange he didn't go with it and make on official on field complaint. He did appear to have a case.

Yeah noticed that at the time of the incident. I think zillman has been involved in a biting incident a couple of years ago too. Maybe he should have something to eat before the game?

If Zillman did indeed bite him he should be rubbed out for at least 12 games. It would be his second offence for a low grubby tactic.

I think what happened was Zillman bit him and then Meaney said you want more and shoved his fingers in his mouth.

The fact the ref didnt even acknowledge him, give him the option to make an official onfield complaint which I believe they have to do….should, but probabaly wont see him sacked

You make an official on field complaint and pretty sure it goes on review Same situation happened last year in a game (can't remember what for ) and the ref asks player if he wants to make it official and he says no . You would want to be 100% sure before you did it though The backlash would be bad if you were wrong

He could even pretend they are meaneys. Win win situation

How do you bite someone by accident? Yes, the fact Meaney's fingers got into Zillman's mouth was an accident, but if Meaney felt Zillman closing his mouth on his fingers… that's a bite. It must have been with some strength for Meaney to blow up like that.

Just don't get why he didn't make a complaint.

Zillman is an ankle biting weirdo.
The refs were against tonight, nothing new there.
Started out strong but just couldn't keep it up.
Was hoping we'd scrape through with a win but it didn't work out that way, very unfortunate.
