Is there one at Ctown or at most grounds in general? Why are the players hobbling off with busted acl's and broken ankles or legs.

Im not sure what the procedure is but after Dwyer back at Ctwon a few years ago its nota great look with players having to hobble off.

LIke I said maybe its normal to hobble off after being prone for 5 minutes but im not sure.

I'd guess its up to the club to provide one….but yeh lay the boot into cambo once again

:unamused: OP wasn't having a did at Cambo, as he stated "is there one at Cambo or grounds in general?". Anything to get the us vs them thing going I guess. FMD

It was a legitimate question.

I did an ACL and I walked off fine. It's tomorrow he'll be struggling to walk.

There definately should be a medicab though.

Moltzen looked to have knocked back the stretcher.
I agree, after the dwyer injury, and the fact these were both serious leg injuries and that in both instances the club doctor was on the field with the player, they should have over ruled the player wanting to be "brave" and do what's in the players best interest.

Lived and worked with an ruptured ACL for over 3 years due to a misdiagnosis

The pain for the first few minutes is bad but goes away pretty quickly ,his knee will be almost the size of a bowling ball by Monday depending on what other damage he may of done

Are things that bad at the Tigers we can't afford one ,its not as if we couldn't claim it as an expense come tax time

By rights we should have a medicab and it should be blazened with sponsorship the way we have players going down. Has Sheens a voodoo doll????????????????

Cant believe aysh had a broken leg, he looked so nonchalant about it. Thought he was trying to slow down play but then i remembered we were down by 4 i think….

Must be a tough bugger haha or the shock

Should be a mandatory service provided to all grounds on game day by the NRL

I would have thought it would be provided by the managers/owners of the ground. I doubt a medicab would be able to get right into the dressing rooms anyway therefore making it useless.

Polar opposite to Moltzen eh.

moltzens anguish was for his team rather than injury i think. clearly loves his mates and doesnt want to leave them at 60min or whatever and likely a big chunk of the season

They have detachable stretchers

Moltzen walked off in nq after he did his acl too didn't he?

I remember there was an article a few years back when a souths player had to walk off in obvious distress and souths admitted they didn't have a medicab as you have to hire them and they are quiet expensive.

As said it does sound like a bit of a joke that the nrl doesn't provide them.

I wasn't having a dig at Moltzen. It just was polar opposite.
