Listened to a strange announcement on ABC radio this morning has a SYDNEY NRL side looking at moving a NRL game in August to Rockhampton

Probably sick of being jacked around by Leichhardt council.

Everyone is sticking the boot into Mayer and the board, but just remember our board is dealing with politicians here, the slimiest operators of the lot.

No hire fee all of a sudden, after drawing $250K a year out of BRLFC? What's the catch? No one is suss about this?

I think the deal was always that there was no hiring fee, but they had to pay a lot for the upkeep of the ground.

Still seems like comparatively a long way off when we are getting paid to play at anz.

So I agree cb, Slimy leichhardt council again. I have complete faith in Mayer and the board on this one.

The council are still messing about re-doing god damn floor space ratios for the club site. Idiots.

Probably working out what the best outcome for the club is. Not looking out for a local pollie who seems intent on making the club look bad thru media releases.
