Minimization of the situation to his team his sole aim.
Smith is a heartless grub who brings shame to the kangaroo jersey...The biggest cheat and con man the game has known.
Shut the hell up Ink. How would you know what Smith knew with regards to the injury? You have no idea. What an embarrassing comment.

Well if he didn't know something as simple as that - why is he Australian Captain?

Yeah that would teach us all a lesson… Not having to hear a Queerslander crap on in the media, god help us say it isn't so. Armaggedons here. At least grace us with the fantastic yippee yipp yippee chant, I love that more than life itself.

What a pissweak comparison to be really honest. In that tackle McKinnon reels out of it after a head clash,a teammate comes up to him and sticks his hand out to be slapped, McKinnon immediately falls to the back of the pack to get his own head cut treated. A bit of a contrast to someone arguing a point after seeing a bloke get carried off on a stretcher in a neck brace after seeing and hearing his anguish from close range,he was in the immediate vicinity of the whole McKinnon scenario unfolding. Idiotic comparison would be saying it nicely. Unbelievable

@The Tooth said:Personally I think it was a wonderful story.
Pretty sure it was an hours show, maybe 10-15 mins on Cam Smith.
Imo it was a story about LOVE. His fiancée Teagan pretty much saved his life by sticking by his side and providing hope, love and support. Who ever posted above that he cornered her in the public eye to propose - you obviously haven't experienced real love and I find it ignorant to post such a thing.
On Cam Smith - it was poor form and somewhat arrogant imo. It was blatantly obvious Alex was seriously hurt. Have we heard him repeat "if he didn't roll his head….". NO!
He realised pretty quickly that was out of line (the tackle was illegal).
Wether he did or didn't, or has or hasn't tried to contact Alex, if it was me I'd be making arrangements to meet Alex (after Origin) and just get it all out. Cameron simply has to accept it wasn't his best moment and appreciate how that would anger Alex and his family. A genuine apology would go a long way. There's no excuse not to contact Alex now, albeit somewhat late. He's just gotta do it imo.
Best of luck to Alex and Teagan in the future. May they live a long and loving life together.
@BornBlack&Gold said:I'm usually all for the cam smith bashing. After all he is indeed the biggest con man in the game.
However I am really having trouble understing the importance of smith having to see or contact Alex. Cameron wasn't even involved in the tackle. Nothing he said or did contributed in any way towards mckinnons situation then or now.
Did smith carry on like an arrogant twit. Yep sure did.
Should he have shut up while he was ahead? (and a ruling of penalty- on report was definitely ahead) Absolutely!
But he didn't cause the injury and the mckinnon family although understandably angry ,shouldn't be looking for a bad guy to blame.
I do hope smith gets flattened on Wednesday night though. .. Legally ofcourse.
@pHyR3 said:even his teammates said they had no idea what had happened, they thought it was precautionary as it almost always is.
cam smith could honestly sue for defamation. but looks like he might just take his story to 7.
the way 9 has slandered him and by extension the game probably means they dont really expect to keep NRL tv rights which is great i reckon. seen numerous anti-league stories on there before, about how no one ever gets injured in soccer and rugby league is full of thugs. probably should have a look at all those absolutely mangled legs, ankles and feet from non professional soccer games..
