This is pretty funny. I don't think that Brooks or Robbie are state cup players though.

You are showing almost as much generosity as JT. 1/2 of these are Ron Massey cup players.

Brooks and Moses have the skill to be that good, they are just at a club with a losing culture, surrounded by plodder forwards that get dominated through the middle by any team with size and aggression and years of coaches showing no accountability to poor performances by wielding the selection axe.

If Moses was the six at the Cowboys, he'd be carving up good and proper. If Brooks was the half at the Sharks, he'd be carving up good and proper.

We expect them to dominate, we expect too much. They are talented young players that are being toxified by a terrible club. They should both leave.

Thurston himself would be sucking behind this pack.

They were ordinary last night. Lawrence stood up. Grant & Halatau injured, the rest were MIA.

its about time everyone on this forum realize that its not brooks and moses fault, yes there not playing great football, but lets put the blame where it belongs our FORWARD PACK IS CRAP and even if we had JT and cronk as our 1/2s they too would stuggle. club needs to clean out are so call forwards and get some real forwards.

Examples of $800k players:
Coote
Morgan
Milford
Hunt
Bird
Lolohea
Norman
Moylan

Milford (and maybe Hunt) is the only one in this list worth that money. The rest I wouldn't be forking out $800k for

True, but they've still have to make tackles.

At 0-0 last night brooks came off the line looking for an intercept and the raiders scored their 1st try.

You can't blame the forwards there, our halves would look better in a good side…..but they still have glaring problems in their play. If they develop???? they could be decent players 2-3 years from now. But they are not worth $600k a year each ATM.

The only thing that both IMO are very smart about is that both have been holding off on their contracts because they probably realize that their careers are probably more enhanced playing elsewhere.....even on less money.

For example, Terry Lamb was a great player and he was a star in a terrible Wests team in the 80's. He moved to the bulldogs and the rest is history. Had he stayed at Wests back then.....I think mentally and physically he would have just been crushed in a team copping a flogging week in week out.

the answer is buy some hard nosed forwards and get andrew johns in to help brooks and moses then see how they are going.

Before the game stareted, Fox were showing the usual warm ups.

Now im not a Farah fan at all, but he was partnered with someone I don't remember and they belting shoulders and chest against each other and it looked very solid indeed. They then cut to Brooks and his partner. They were barely touching and looked very disinterested. Supports the rumour that Brooks is a terrible trainer and not prepared to do the hard yards.

Looked like he was either lazy, or thinking of another team he wants to be with. It wasnt a good look. I wonder if anyone else noticed? It certainly reflected how they were playing an hour later

Farah was belting shoulders with Sue ..didn't see brooks tbh

My memo to the Broses twins:

If you continue to hold the club ransom, while spitting up that rubbish football, you'll quickly become unpopular figures at the club.

That sort of ends the whole point being made within that post.

I think Brooks really put in against Canberra. He was running fast and hard and he gave it a shot. He needs a lot of work to become a polished NRL player but I think on the right money he deserves much more of a go.

I'd offer him $150k and a PS-4
Take it or see ya !

That is a bit harsh, He has had an ordinary year. I'm starting to see something there with him though but he needs a lot of work.

Our spine really needs a lot of work. Tedesco is a weapon but he needs to be utilised better and he needs some support.

Firstly …
Brooks and Moses both need to learn to tackle , especially goal line defence . No other players can help you out on your goal line , it's up to them .
i honestly can't fathom that the club has these two rookies pencilled in for 600k !
Just ridiculous .
