I stand by this. I ghosted someone I had known my entire life. Some friends don't want you to succeed they just compare themselves to you. I never regret just cutting them off, disrespect doesn't deserve a response.

Best advice ever. Cut the fat. There are people in your lives that just bring you down to lift themselves up. Drop em like a Woolies bag when the bottom gives out.

Let this thread be an outlet for people who are genuinely struggling with their mental health. Take the politics crap elsewhere.

Yeah, though politically targeted minorities, and even the female majority on occasion, can directly struggle with mental health because of policies and the rhetoric of their supporters.

Elsewhere should be a dedicated thread on here, just like it had been for more than a decade.

Cut out the political crap

I knew of one recently where a proclaimed influencer put up a post about someone and with the help of followers and trolls left a person in a very bad mental state , people don’t realise how bad it is out there
One of the worst things in this day and age is how people hunt in packs online. I also hate seeing videos of an altercation and the video starts half way in and I’m supposed to believe the one whose filming is in the right, despite having no context in what lead to that point.

Thank you for the message 🥰 it's appreciated.

And thank you to all who commented and checked in, too. I took a couple of days off work, slept, watched some telly had some quiet time with hubby, a big cry, then slapped a smile on my face, walked for my One Foot Forward (hut my fund-raising goal, and am halfway to my km one) and am ready to go and visit my young friend in hospital 🤞hoping he's well enough for a visit today
Hi Suzie. I don’t know how I missed this conversation so apologies for this late reply. I genuinely hope you & hubby are ok. The fact that your able to do your bit for mental health is a credit to you so make sure you acknowledge yourself for your work. (A bit of self love doesn’t hurt) take care
