I was out of the lounge room during the roosters-cowboys game but heard the "dream team" talking about robbie and ennis. Said something about ennis being scared. Did anyone catch it?

I didn't see it, but the letter of the week in the week's RLW highlights the difference between Farah and Ennis. The guy stated that Ennis is voted the game's biggest sledger because he has so much energy as he never runs the ball and shirks the hard yakka in defence, whereas Farah does not and is more of a team player as a result. Not so sure about the team player call as Farah can often overplay his hand to the detriment of the team at times, but it was a decently constructed comment made by the fellow.

W, i think you are being hard on robbie when you accuse him of not playing for the team.

There has been pressure put on him to 'stand out' by this manufactured battle between him and ennis. We all know who the best hooker in the nrl is (including camerort smith) but the media has put robbie in the position of having to pull out some miracle play every ten minutes - grubber for ellis to score, grubber for tuquiri, risky cut out pass on our ten metre line for brown to break downfield, long break from dummy half for heighno to score, etc etc. No other hooker in the nrl does this kind of thing regularly.

All ennis seems to have to do is shovel the ball to kimmorley and that makes him a soo candidate. It's ridiculous.

I don't mean to accuse him of not being a team player, it's just that I think he tries too hard at times to come up with a play which can hurt the team. He clearly wants to win but I think it's sometimes a case of the Tigers not playing smart enough and come up with low percentage plays, and being one of the leaders in the team, Farah, along with Benji are sometimes guilty of this. Robbie has spoken about settling down and going back to basics this week and I think this will help his game if he does.

I tend to agree. As much as i loved him, benny e. Was guilty of the same thing at times. I think robbie needs to play a more selective role.

spot on.

I simply cannot wrap my head around people thinking michael ennis is actually in farah's league, let alone better than him.

Farah has proven time and time and bloody time again that he is a match winner. He's been a fantastic player since he came into grade. I cannot think of any other player in the comp who will kick 40/20's, kick field goals, set up tries, score tries and still top the tackle count.

Yes Yes Robbie Farah is all those things….

Just lets see it this week against Souths....

The bloke himself has said he's been poor....

I gotta say now, on current form, Ennis should be there ahead of Farah.

Im just wondering whether the captaincy has weighed Farah down? To me it seems like he is trying to hard to lead by example and that is why he is 'hogging' the ball at times, even with his tackling maybe he should hold back in the line a little bit so he doesnt get drained out.

I don't care about Farah vs. Ennis. I'm over it in fact. I want our hooker (and captain might I add,) putting his club before his own aspirations for a change stringing together a few wins.

If he wants to worry about Origin, he can request a release and play for another club and weigh them down while he plays for himself.
